Stock studs aren't reusable? What makes you say that or why aren't they reusable? I'm not reusing mine but I don't see why they wouldn't be reusable unless I'm looking at the wrong studs.
stock head bolts/studs "can" be reused but most people who are building for high power don't like to becuase when they are tourqed down they are atcually stretched a tiny bit. Plus ARP studs are stonger...

You will lneed pistons with rings and pins, rods (Manley make the only I Beam ones but they are more money of course). Main and rod bearings, head studs, (may as well and you can't reuse those anyway). and lastly gaskets (head gasket specifically but a few others as well). That is the basic setup which with a decent rod can get you to 500 WHP pretty easily. If you want more then I would recommend sleeving which starts getting pricey. ERL is about $1400 I think.

So what do you think all those parts would cost, the pistons, rods, bearings, gaskets and studs? And then how much would install costs? the cylinders would have to be notched, right?

according to ScionGT35R and I think etsnet the new rods offered from dezod (the K1 technologies, a carillo company) fit without any notching of the block required... correct me if I am wrong... just thought I would throw that bit of info at ya mrmeaty

The beefier the rod the more likely it will require notching the block although that is a simple procedure that can be done by your machine shop when the block gets honed and balanced.
