We raced again and same results!

Oh, and about not racing you guys... I can't win since your all 3.7- 5sec 0-60s! Not fair even if I hit 6.5 0-60, no matter how good I am.

I race a lot on Boulder hwy. (Henderson)

Hey lets put this back to TT's topic, lets not turn this one into a "Forpinks thread" , he's got enough thread for all these #$@#%...

Have a question, is an EL manifold better than a log manifold performance wise? any pros and cons?

I think I crapped my pants. The bike must have been towing a tC behind it! lmfao

Anywho, that's some good looking stuff. Hopefully I can buy one someday (it's not looking good though).

were not all boosted, only 3 of us. and I'm the only tuned one. There are guys that show up NA, and some are even autos. just come out and we'll see. Gotta see that NA Beast!

Anyway, yes, an EL manifold will give more performance than a log style. You might get less lag from a log style, due to shorter pipes, but the EL causees less turbulance and gives you much greater potential for power output.

^^^ In other words, its the drag racers special!

Hey Meaty did you keep your hood insulation with the equal lenght turbo manifold?

So, who's the 4th Vegas SL guy who's going turbo? (If that happens, you should call yourselves the FAB 4 of Vegas turbo tCs in SL!

woudln't it be more stable due to the less material that the heat travels through? as in miles and miles down hte road, not like 4k down the road im taling like......20-30-40k miles down the heat would beat on it so bad hte the tubular metal would just crack? why woudl it create more turbulance being shorter?

fab 4. =| how......___. hahah there are a bunch of us going turbo around the same time.

I think theres more turbulence in log coz exhaust from the engine is unstable and it has less material for it to travel so less time for the exhaust to settle before reaching the turbo.. an equal length manifold allows exhaust enuf time to settle/ less turblent before reaching the turbo. not sure, am i right?

even if you aren't, i was guessing the same thing. makes sense, sort of like a plane ride when you take off and then steady... also because hte word turbulence. but yea.

forpinks:
This makes number 6 in vegas. 3rd TT kit in vegas.

aen:
The EL has less turbulance cause all 4 hit at the same time.
Even though the log style is shorter, they are not the same lenght, so they do not hit the turbo evenly.
something like that. I dont' know.

1... 2... 3... COMMENCE ORGASM! AHHHHHHH! LOL, anyway, I will eventually go with EL Manifold, but don`t know who else makes them. It sucks that TT`s EL Manifold won`t work with Dezod`s kit, otherwise, I would get it.

Um...dezod IS working on an EL as well! No telling if it will work with the stock setup, but it should work with the turbo, so you'd just need the mani and the downpipe.
Same with the TT. 318 has the TT mani and downpipe and the rest is a dezod kit.

and now the mystery polished manifold buyer.

yeah, didn't think about IC piping not fitting. to bad.
So I wonder how much of 318tc's turbo is TT and how much is Dezod?
I thought just the mani and dp were TT, but I guess he'd need his IC and piping as well, which would just leave the turbo it self from Dezod, right?

He is just using my manifold and dp.

He had the ICP either modified or made to work with his new setup.
