Again, like the G35s you so proudly beat, SRT4s are slow. You'd only need about 210whp to beat one.
i dont know what srt4's you guys are racing. but there are alot of fast srt4s in south fla. granted stock srt4's are a high 13-low 14 second car. but just throw on an agp 50 trim kit, exhaust, meth, and slicks. and you have a mid to high 11 second car easy.

heres a link to an srt4 sites timeslip database.

how many 11, or 12 second scions do you guys think are out there?

To give the stock clutch a break . Getting a ClutchMasters stage 4 at the end of the month, and once I get the car tuned by either Dezod or PTuning, I'll have the boost back up to 10-12PSI.

But god damn is 5psi slow.

its all in how you drive it. just dont drive around in boost. 5-6 psi will still be hard on a stock clutch if you drive around in wot all the time.(which is pretty much a mandatory thing on a freshly boosted car)

I can hit boost in 5th gear now without having the clutch beg for mercy, and I've been able to actually use the power in second gear without breaking them loose instantly. 3rd I can mash down, on 12PSI they would break loose everytime .

Plus I was spiking to 13 sometimes, so I decided to play it safe until everything is actually finished. I'd guess I'm only making 220-240whp right now on my tune (my butt dyno is very accurate, I guessed 280-300 for 12psi and I hit 295), so when I do get it tuned and running on 10 PSI again, it'll feel like a fresh new car again.

Plus I need a good boost controller. I can't believe I cheaped out on that and bought a manual one. I think I'm going to get the Greddy one.

Plus 5-6psi on my tune is more like 3-4 on a pro tune. I only made 295 on 12psi (330 dynojet)...

I tried to stop hitting boost after my first fill up. First tank, 16mpg. Second, 18mpg. Third, 20mpg. Fourth, 27mpg. Fifth, 31mpg(hit full boost 2 times only, all hwy). Sixth, 19mpg.

.
If your worried about spiking, DO NOT buy a greddy Profec. They are pure crap. Manual boost controllers are about as consistent as you can possibly get. If you do buy electric make sure it's a dual solenoid like Blitz or HKS.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Greddy from EvoM.net.

That's because Evo's don't care about boost spikes. Those motors can take 30 psi stock. Greddy is nice cause it's cheap, that's about it.

Alright, I'll look into the HKS, Blitz and Apexi.

Now I'm going to have to find a place to mount the stupid thing .
