I spent closer to $4K on my wich is a little bit more, but it has a lot more potential then the greddy. Add gauges and tuning and it get's closer to $5k, maybe even $6k.
Here's a good rule of thumb, after you save enough money to buy your kit, save double that. Then you'll be all set for any onforseen expenditures.
If you don't run into any problems, then hey, you have an extra grand or so and you can pick up that clutch that your gonna need. I'm only pushing 250whp at 5psi for now, and tooling around town is fine, but whenever anyone lines up next to me, I'm burning clutch!

I will do the install and all that so that wont effect the price. And, Yes i realize it will cost about $4000 to have everything running smoothly but, Im sayong $3500 for the kit along not any extra stuff.

i have the greddy kit and my wastegate is sitting in my garage after i tried burning it and throwing it at many things.
the couplings are also pretty cheap and have replaced 2 of them since march and i didnt drive my car for over a month for other reasons.
you HAVE to get the pnp harness and find out whos tuning ur car and what emanage they prefer, cuz mine likes the blue better and i have the ultimate. but it all worked out.
then ur going to need gauges and that'll add up, so ur goal of 3500 probably wont happen unless u buyed a used kit.
hmmm
my suggestion, like someone else said, is talk to paul at dezod. if for anything, the fact that his customer service trumps greddy by far. they couldnt even answer a simple question and i was on hold for 40 minutes.
i could go on, but im gonna play ps3 now

Where can I get/buy that steel braided radiator hose and that extra radiator cap next to the catch can?
This is a nice example of the GReddytC kit... (much cleaner than anything else right now.)

What's a modded Greddy? (is it the one with a built engine, BOV or SQBOV, new turbo, and water/meth injection?)
I'm really looking forward to getting a Greddy since a friend of mine told me that I should get a very well renowed company with real engineers and techs and hopefully from Japan... (well, Greddy fits that description) ; )
He'll help with my install of the EManage PnP w/ harness, grind the fuel rail and weld an oil pan from another tC...

They said the internal wastegate don't last long...
This is my first choice on turbo kits for a long time, then Dezod Signature... (I'm really into Japanese stuff, I even bought a made in Japan Fender bass for that reason.)
