Ptuning SS Fuel Return System review & Install Pics
Overall, the system is pretty good. The kit is pretty much designed for an easier install and reliability, less modification and still deliver enough fueling over 500hp.
For reference, I used this source for disassembly and reinstallation of fuel system components.. http://scionlife.org/Scion_Docs/2005...20Manual/Fuel/
1. Fuel rail look great, well designed mount for FPR and return line, very clean and nice lines and an fittings
2. Nice quick install and release clips for the fuel return line, plugs to the factory hard fuel feed lines but now as a return (very well secured and well mounted on the car)
Here's where it mounts on the engine bay..
-6an from fuel rail--> 21" line to oem hard fuel lines using factory clips
On the rear, from the end of the hard fuel lines connects oem style clips to the 64" -6 an braided return line.. then connects to the 90 deg an return fitting
here's the ptuning return and the oem fuel feed
3. 90 deg an fitting for the return line

Pic of the return fitting with the pump assembly installed,
4. Uses factory 90 degree feed fitting, to ptuning fuel feed line. I think its easier to install, more plug and play.. No cutting/drilling to fit a new feed fitting or worrying for leak on the tap area.. I think its reliable in a way that you dont have to modify that pressurized part of the pump assembly.. easier to put back to stock too..
5. -6 an braded lines feed lines fits the same stock plastic mounts used by the oem hard fuel line.. should have taken pics of those
6. Nice fuel pressure regulator plug in place
here's a pic w/ stock fpr
how I wired the walbro fuel pump, i wished it came with the wiring harness though.. nothing major you can get one for 4 bucks.

I think regulator on the rail is a good thing.. other than its clean look, it moves as a one piece and less risk of fuel line failure due to vibration and movements also less trouble looking for a good location or getting a good mount, very accessible too.. but for those who prefers it to be somewhere, maybe inside the car you could always do that, just modify the length of the fuel lines..
oh, im interested to see the fuel system dezod is working on..

^ I would never run my fuel lines through the cabin. But I see what your saying, but your vibration theory may be flawed. Your engine vibrates and rock just as much or more then then car itself. I would rather have it somewhere where I dont have to reach behind the engine to adjust, or read my fuel pressure. PTuning knows what they are doing, so I'm sure this whas probably the best way they found to do it.

lol yeah cabin and fuel doesnt sound very nice.. What I meant by less vibration is that the fuel rail-->fuel lines-->fpr moves as a unit, the engine my may move a lot but the whole unit goes with it vs. mounting it to the firewall or on the car's body where the engine rocks more independently fuel lines might move back and forth risk for it getting loose after awhile esp without motor mounts/etd the fuel lines moves more

I would suggest running a separate gauge for the cabin, the gauge next to the fpr is for the purpose of dialing the desired pressure without having to look inside the car

pcv seals fine.. no havent retuned on the dyno, i've been changing stuff on my setup from 93oct to e85 and now to a return setup and then prolly would change my injectors next then prolly built motor.. until my setup settles its all gonna be street tune for now coz dyno here is so expensive
I did ran on the track after I installed the fuel setup just for datalogging and I ran 16sec at 7psi i still trapped at 93mph, my afrs 8-9 and leanest I saw was 10.5 lol before the fuel return my afrs were 12 up to 4500 rpms and goes to 12.5 5K up
