Won't be to much longer before I have a built block in. Things are falling into place as we speak. But 2 more lbs of boost won't hurt as long as the tune is good. I'm pulling timing out as well. And damn son 96000 miles! I barely got 35k and I have a 2006. There are some people running like 16lbs on stock blocks.

2 step ignition is fun (REALLY FUN!) but too much of a head ache... The high egts and cylinder temps tend to crack head gaskets.

3rd gear 45 mph roll out to 110 mph. nothing i really can do about the 3rd gear burnout on stock tires. I'm sure it'll be more extreme when i get the new one on there.

NIOCE....same here on 3rd gear burn on stockers. New tires are in order though. I can tell you are pushing the power.

Did you start in 2nd gear and burn up 2nd and 3rd, or did you start in 3rd and burn up 3rd and 4th? Cause the tires spun on the initial punch and after you shifted they spun again.

Here is mine for comparison:

You pull harder for sure, then again your on a built motor and I am not. But I think I do pretty good for a stock motor.

na. just third. can't use 2nd. that's just third hit the limiter and just let sit. and the the second time after it caught and hit 80 then shifted. pulls like a ****.. would have been better if it didn't hit the limiter..

yeah i compared it lastnight. if i didn't spin and didn't loose a bit of the momentum the rest would have been a bit smoother and a lot quicker..

OH gotcha, so you didn't shift right there, that was just you gaining the traction back. I see. Yeah, I think that would make a good race. I think it would be a good battle with you having the edge obviously. I don't know what my car is pushing, but it's not 400whp. I guesstimate in the 330-350whp range. How much boost are you running?

^^Going to address the traction first I assume. My boy Brian is running 15lbs on the Hydra with the 550GTK turbine. He puts down 400+whp also. I am looking to put some jungle juice and have a 14 PSI tune still on the stock motor and then take it to the track on slicks. I think it will be over the 400whp mark on the stock block with the jungle juice in there.
