question about maf senser

well i have an 08 intake for a s/c. now i still have the sensor on the intake so could a 05 just plug it in and be fine? he is a pic for what i mean.

no they use 2 different maf sensors, the 05-06 is bigger and has a bigger clips, the 07-10 is the exact opposite
