question about the shims!
Ok so all day i bull____ted around with phone calls and everything like that, the dealership tells me they need to know what the MM is of the shim and ive measured everything ...the dealer says its 5.03 to 5.04 something and im like measuring and everything for the stupid shim and I have not come up with a number even close to that I have measured valve clearance which is wrong I have measured the clearance between the shim and the cam lobe ...ive done everything and i still dont know exactly what number they need

Well I haven't taken this head apart yet but it should be the distance between the bucket and the camshaft. The clearance there. By the way 5 mm is a LOT! Usually you measure with feeler gauges and it is a fraction of a mm. Make sure the camshafts are torqued down to spec and the cams are lubricated. I prefer Redline Engine Assembly lube myself.

yea lol we did use feeler gauges to see what the gap is ... and nope the number is no good ... so im at a loss here the feeler gauges off the top of my head i dont remember but they are in the window that they should be in around .3 something MM not no 5.03 to 5-04 MM
also the parts guy said if anyone could figure out what T = 5.03 means then the T is what I have to measure ...wtf i dont get it ?!!?!?!?

*gets excited*
ive figured out exactly what they need and now I need to figure out how to measure it!
the valve stem diameter is what they need to know to order the part, how th hell am i going to measure the diameter of the valve stem with the valve in the car ...here comes the tricky part

Should be able to measure the tip. The T= part is probably an equation they use in the manual. A lot of manufacturers use a more complicated method but all you need is the specs for the actual valve clearance.
