One thing I did notice though is that my battery read 'add distilled water'...although I'm not sure how to do this or if it affects a start...

when u unplugged everything did you plug the OEM ECU back in?

If it's not turning over it sounds like either the EFI fuse, or the ingition system.

Did you run a scan yet?

I thought it would be a little pointless to scan without being able to start up. I checked my fuses and all the ones in the engine bay box are fine, even the EFI. It's strange how it started and drove around one night and the next day it wouldn't start at all...

well, before my major probs, it all started with my car cranking but not turning over. seemed like there was no spark or fuel at all. turns out it was my plug n play harness. i explained it in the beginning of my trouble thread.

OK it starts now! It's pretty weak but it starts. Oil starting splurting out pretty quick out of the manifold downpipe connection. I shut it off immediately. Thoughts? I'm gonna post pictures off the oil setup.

Actually negative on that oil. It really seems like it's actually fuel. It dries up pretty quick, although it's it's pretty dark, and it obviously smells like gas. I pulled out the plugs and they smelled like gas and had a lot on them. Also, my car immediately was in the 10.0 afr range and idled at like 1200 RPM. I let it run for maybe 8 seconds.

ok, we are getting somewhere. sorry bout the other post, i'm not trying to be a dick ..

ok , if your dumping raw fuel you have an injector isue. one of your injectors is going static and not pulsing. your going to foul your plugs, 02 sensor etc if this continues..

what are you running for a fuel system.??? i would pull the injectors and have them flow tested.

OK, is there any way I could simply swap back in my stock injectors to try and pinpoint the failure as my new 550cc injectors? Is flow testing an injector a fairly common practice around auto shops, or will this be something I need to send out?

are you running the 550's on the stock ecu?? If so i tried that when trouble shooting my problems, and i idled 10.0 (which means it's much richer!!). Sounds like what you thought was oil is just fuel with carbon. To me it still sounds like a faulty emanage injector harness or bad mapping with the 550's or a lack there of.

Honestly that's what I'm leaning towards now too. When I get home from school I'm gonna put in the emanage again and see what happens...

Also can anyone tell me the jumper settings that the dezod emanage is shipped with. Maybe I have incorrect jumper settings?

Your issue was when you tried to wire in the black box, you nearly terminated the connection on the power lead. Hence the spuratic start

4-2-2 for rotary and the following jumpers:

I was wondering if your injector correction factor is set at all. Do you have the support tool?
