Default Quick scangauge question

OK, so I have my scangauge monitoring afr's and I was wondering what the min. and max readings everyone is seeing. Reason I'm asking is I think I'm running richer than the gauge reads under boost. The leanest I have seen was 18.08 and the richest was 12.0. Anyone seen anything different in there Tc? I want to know the maximum values of our stock wideband. Thanks

Actually our primary 02 is a wideband. Its just a different design than the bosch/lsu standard 6 wire. Does the scangauage actually convert to afr?? I can monitor the value but only in lambda - and I hate converting lol - I know its simple but my brain cant do it in real time lol

yes it reads AFR's fine, but it's rather laggy. Well too laggy to even take it into consideration. I would only use it as a reference to compare accuracy of primary wideband, which in this case might only work well at idle.

Lets stay on topic people. All I want to know is if the scan gauge can read into the 11's on a tc? Thats it.... I know the unit itself can on other vehicles but need to know for tc. As for a "real" wide band sensor, the stock is and the scangauge can read it perfectly in afr's. Just don't think the stock can read as wide of band as the aftermarket Bosch. So that takes us back to my original question. Pleas someone that uses a scangauge chime in. Thank you.

I have seen lower afr numbers on my scangauge (don't recall what exactly). I also recently installed an innovate lc-1 and compared the two readouts, the sg reads 14.0 while the lc-1 reads 14.7(at idle).

Eventually I am going to swap over to the Bosch W/B and I have Scangauge so I'll let you know.. you'll just have to have patience... so if somebody else wants to beat me to it... by all means do so!

I guess I could log mine and tell ya - but like someone said above - it seems to be really laggy - I thought it was just the software I was using to monitor obd2 but apparently its like that on any scanner

At idle it reads 14.65. It gets to a bout 18 when I let off the gas and goes to 12 at redline. My tc is supercharged and tuned, but w/out the tune it reads much rich-er at redline.

scangauge reading gets its reading from the stock O2 sensor so yeah, seperate wideband is best for speed and accuracy

Those are the exact numbers I'm seeing with my tune. But you did indeed see lower than 12.0 on the scangauge w/out the tune? I'm trying to find the min and max values the oem wideband reads. I already found the leanest value at 18.08 but not the richest. So what's the richest anyone has seen through the scangauge on a tc?

With my tune the richest I've seen is 12.09. I got the scangauge after the tc was tuned so I never saw anything lower than that on the scangauge. When I said it was rich-er that was when I went to the dyno and I saw 10s (sniffing the tail pipe). If you're having problems with your a/f you should really use something more accurate than the scangauge. But if you just want to know the richest value, why not give the guys at scangauge a call or send an email.

I have the scangauge2 and would love to add some more Xgauges on... I am a little confused on what codes to input into my SG.

http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

Which one do I choose?

ISO, VPW, PWM, CANSF

for the AFR x-gauge... they have several codes I can input, they say (bank 1, sensor 1).. etc.... which one do I use?
