The BOV looks like a Greddy type-S, but if it were I'm sure they'd list it as a Greddy. BTW, there is a wave of counterfit Greddy BOV's out recently, even posted on the Greddy site, and that may be one of them.
Unlike Carbon, I'm not going to discourage you from getting a turbo. Everybody starts at zero. What you need to do is either research and school up on turbo, or take the lazy man approach by seeing what the majority of tC owners use and copy their setup. Regardless of what you get, you WILL need engine management in the form of Greddy eManage, AEM F/IC, or some other tuneable system that plugs into your stock ECU. Also, ask around with tuner shops in your area and see what they're comfortable working on.
Budget $3-4k for a turbo kit, $250 - $500 for a tune, and a bit for install. If the kits come with a tapped oil pan, you can install yourself if you can use a wrench and ratchet. Just stay out of boost until it gets tuned.
You can get some great deals on used Greddy, Treadstone, ZPI, and possibly Dezod and Turbonetics kits here as well, just check the classifieds.

And the BOV is described as "Type-RS Style", which isn't even the knock off Greddy BOV..it's a knock off of a knock off. Basically, it will open 3 times, get stuck and fail.
