becides the pickup speed (which is hard to tell from camera) the car sounded like it was spooling a turbo - see how easy it is to fool a noob. ha. Why did you sell your turbo? Thats too bad about the carpet - you couldnt have thrown it back in?

 

A newb driving next to me perhaps....lol. My exhaust still gurggles and pops as if it was still boosted. But a newb watchin the vid would just read the mod list at the beginning of the vid...hehee.


But yeah, I could have thrown the carpet back in as this Redline Event took place at my home track which is only 10-15min away from my town house. Could have drove back home grabbed it and put it back in, slid the splitter back 2 inches and rebolted and would have been in the Stock class and went home with a trophy. But I stuck with 4th in the street class. That's fine with me cause that's where I want to be anyway even though I am a Rookie.

 

Cool vids.. how do you like the Quaife? Any nuances about it you don't like?

 

Oh I love it. I just wish I could give it some more exercise, cause my tires have no grip. When I get better wheels/tires I will give it a better workout.

 

^ ha - yea i said that also .....and then you punch it harder then before with the new tires and still no grip. hehe.

 

^^LoL....stuck right now and can't buy anything, but soon I shall be back on it.

 

Right now my car just has a catback and header back to stock and airbox stock - its fun ripping into turns w/ the lsd.

I'm going to try and get another video loaded up today. It's of the Ptuning tC running the same lap times as the Forged Performance R35 GTR. They were one second behind FP's R35.
