A reliable team of 300 horses
#21
Last dyno for me was 317whp / 304 tq. Flat out if you want to twin charge with a vortech, you are throwing your money in the trash can. I know twincharging VERY well as I am one of the few that has worked on many twincharged kits including the old HKS kit designed for the 4ag for 1st gen MR2's.
Twincharging was at it's peak in the late 80's and early 90's. The idea was to use a supercharger such as an eaton or an ogura sc that makes boost clear down in the 1500rpm range, then mate it with a larger frame turbo "turbo efficiency was not that great back then" to increase efficiency across the power band so the car could make power down low and up high. A vortech acts like a super laggy turbo power wise and generally makes peak power at redline which is why I am telling you it is a waste of cash, time and effort.
You want a 300whp tc, then do it with a well designed turbo kit.
