Default resistor box w/greddy ultimate

Ok so my mechanic has been trying to make me go e85 which I want to but I only have 875cc injectors and my ultimate can't tune low impedance unless i can. Get a standalone and that's out of the question since I have to pay for a build again. So my question is if I put in a resistor box will the ultimate be able to tune over 1000cc? And how much power will my 875cc be able to make on e85 with 2 pumps and fuel return set up?

Descendant sells an RC high impedence 1000cc injector
If you have a very high base fuel pressure you can make good numbers

1000cc will be a bottleneck
At minimum 1 bosch 044 or two walbros

My plan is 25psi and e85. I don't think 1000cc will cut it. I think at least 1200cc will do.

Ok I'm pretty sure the scion tc ecu is more complicated then a 1jz ecu. I'm reffering to the scion tc ecu with ultimAte and lowmimpedance injeors.

I recommend 1600s.

I think your idle will be complete garbage. But will it work? Probably. Will it work well? Probably not

I dont think your going to find anyone on here running 1600s on emanage

I don't think anyone here is running low impedance injectors on the ultimate.

marcelo man.....save up and buy the aem standalone.....i think its risky to have 500hp on a piggyback. has someone done it? im sure they have. but for me man, im stopping at 330 ft lbs of torque so my clutch will hold until i have a real job. i know cory is running 900cc injectors at around 12 psi with eth and is fine....but then again he does have a twin fuel pump setup.

I'll get twin setup also. But I want over 500 and my injectors won't cut it.

If you could get a hold of the 1000cc's u might be able to up the pressure and push close to 1600cc's. One walboro and an in-line bosch 044 should do the trick or twin walboro. I maxed my 700 cc's at 10psi with stock pressure and one walboro on full e85. Currently at 8.5-9psi

Good luck brotha, let me know if ur gonna sell the 875's :-)

I wish I did, I did put down 303 at 11-11.5 psi on 93 pump. After that I started blending e85 lil by lil till I reached full e85 and the car felt even better and smoother (while it lasted).

One engine later and a couple of leasons learned, on e72 at 8.5-9psi I hit 86 idc right around 6k rpm. I'm currently on full e85, but I'm taking it easy this time and fine tuning it. I'll try doing a log soon, I found this great straight smooth road that I can use.

P.S. Have u tried dynolicious for the iTouch/iPhone? I just compared it with the AEM log software and it was dead on (+/-2%). I calculated my car's full weight and subtracted 18% and it gives me a really close number to my last dyno sheet (15+hp less than the dyno), but I'm cool with the smallers numbers.

I tryed it but the thing is my car spins so much that it read low as numbers for me. Now if I had full grip then it will be accurate.

If you are really wanting to put down some power, you should looking into the proper supporting mods. The downfall of the returnless system is it's inability to keep up with more power and higher RPMs. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? You should monitor that while you are boosting and modding to make sure you fuel system is keeping up. You could keep throwing larger and larger injectors at it, but it really is just a band-aid. Gingles said it above, you should start looking into a proper FMU and a return system with an adjust able FPR. If you are planning on going with a dual-pump setup anyway, this could be a viable alternative or supplemental mod!

I will be getting a fuel return. Once my car is done at the shop. And ultimate will stay on my car till I afford a ems. If ptuning can make well over 500whp with the ultimate I'm pretty sure I can. So till then ultimate it is.
