I netted around 25-30whp with these cams.
^^ Thank you, this is what I was looking for.

Sounds like we got a HP war in the works to see who can be the first to 300whp with the S/C.

KYTC vs. IceNine haha

I wouldn't call it a war. I'd call it more of a frankenstein experiment given the problems surrounding the TuRD SC

Waiting super anxiously, even If I would never buy a TRD SC. Still I admire your great effort.

Another problem KYTC and I are going to have to face (err, well, are already facing) is belt slippage. Our tensioner pulleys need beefier springs to keep slippage at bay.

I'm going to approach Ripp about redesigning that as well.

He was hesitant to share his info so I wont repost it. If his claims are true, then he has an amazing setup. He lives about 3 hours from me and I offered to come see it and he said sure. I hate counting people out so I will say its legit. I will be up that way Oct 8th. iwill see if I can check it out.

Hmmm, hp war for 300whp S/C....... Would it be cheating to drop in a ZPI stage 2 block tuned to a 7800rpm redline? Not that I'm going to do this anymore. To many things to worry about. Give me a set of pistons, rods, and a good turbo insead. Nothing against anyone with a S/C, I have one. I just want to do the turbo to get back the torque and reliability. When I say that I mean the S/C failing again.

But yah, love the fact that someone is finally coming out with cams for our cars. Anyone heard anything about a set for turbo tC's??? I'd love to get a hold of some for my build this winter.

I am when the facts simply don't add up.

1. He says he has a stock ECU. We already know the stock ECU can't deliver his gains. Look at the people who try to use the TRD supercharger with the stock AF map. They run insanely rich, get 15mpg and are essentially trashing their engines. People who do this blow piston lands and cause all sorts of other grief.

Custom vortech supercharger? I doubt this guy is tight enough with Vortech to get a custom-made supercharger unless he's made a name for himself. If it's a custom "kit" built around a certain trim, that's certainly possible, but see problem #1

3. His dyno sheet is too small to read - and he's got good reason, because, like I said, he's FOS
