There is a vac line going from the intake manifold to the valve cover which carries the air for idle once the engine is warm... Make sure the hose on is securely on both ends and it may pop off under boost, result is a crappy idle and some stalling. If that is good, then wedge the throttle body plate open with something that wont damage it or fall apart and to a boost or vac test at that point... U may have lifted the intake manifold. Make sure the motor is at tdc as air will escape thru the valves if they are open.

Cory, Gary and myself are at a much higher altitude. when i was up at the summit of mt. evans i only pulled 9inches of vac.

I highly doubt any damage has been done to the motor. i'm pretty sure since the air has been slowed due to the turbo and the 500miles of piping i've added the timing just needs to be advanced a little to compensate.

and in reposnse to the vac line coming off at this altitude the car doesn't even idle with that thing off.

i also have a hunch is a vac leak i'm going to rip everything apart this weekend and make sure everything is good and secure. With as many hands as there were in my install i'm sure somthing is wrong.
