I think you might want to plan on a full day or more. Depending on your skill level and if you have enough help.

6 hours. thats how long my install took. It was me and 2 of my friends.

ive heard people saying its taken the dealer 2 days (which is crazy)

that is probably because they didnt have all the necessary tools to complete the job, so they had to overnight something.

They probably took so long cuz it was only one tech working on it. When you have 2 or 3 peeps working on it, you can have someone underneath doing the oil pan and such while the other does the wiring uptop. Dealerships take forever all the time.

3s a crowd, it only takes one experienced tech to do it in about 4- 6 hours, no breaks. id rather it take longer by having one guy do it, because 3 people in a hurry are bound to over look something, all thinking the other one did it.

That would have been me jwaggz... I also mentioned that the reason they had it over night (or two days) is because of their workload and they could not guarantee that it was done in one day. Total install time by the dealership was 8 hours... TRexx did the install and did a great job!

So, it's not so crazy.

our dealer had one tech to do the sc installs; and the car was there for the whole day. But whether it's a dealer or a friend, best to take the time to do it right, then try and hurry up this process.
