Default S/C or Pay off car?

So the title said it all. I have a little over 4 grand saved up and I was going to buy a S/C for the tc. The I looked at my loan amount left for the TC and I only have 6,000 left to pay for the car. Normally I would say screw it and go with the S/C but I just saw the new ralliart lancer and I really like it. I always wanted an evo but could never afford one but the ralliart is well within my price range especially with an 08 tc as a trade in. So I am kinda stuck on what to do. I love the look of both cars but even if I S/C the tc it will still have less HP, not to mention the lancer has AWD. I just dont know what to do I really like the TC and I have only had it for a year but I also like the new ralliart and if Im not mistakin the ralliart will be faster then a S/C tC.

I know Im puting this on the FI thread so many of you will probably say go S/C but seeing how many of you are also car buffs you will be able to understand my delema.

Well it is a 4 year loan and I will be paying it off in under one so I guess thats good, I am trying to get some sort of good credit history. So I guess the real question is, after I pay off the car should I buy the ralliart lancer or save my money cause I will no longer have a car payment and I can really fix up the tC.

On a side note I have no problems with another car loan because at most all I would need to get is a $10,000 loan. I am very used to having a car payment and dont mind it.

Lancer 23K-13K tade in for 08 tC ( I better at least get 13K)= 10K loan

So if my math is correct it would only be about 200 a month for a 4 year loan/ which is the same as the one for my tc.

Lancer is a downgrade from the tC IMO. Go EVO or nada.

Yea you should pay it off and keep it. Oh and by the way don't get me wrong I like the new lancer especially the evo, but I just saw a post earlier today on yoursciontc.com about a guy that had a new evo and went to give the car some gas and his whole gas pedal broke off....and Mitsubishi wouldn't replace it....it kind of makes you think twice.

frkn pay it off, and spend like 5k to make it fast as a evo.

OR trade it in for a EVO.

in the end, EVO

pay off , if you have side money put 1/2 it into a back up something like 2x you deductible on insurance most tc problems end up with broken windows and stuff. Then down the road after the tc gone you have the next cool car first down payment.
Because boost is a habit forming to no extra cash. lol

pay it off definitely...not a fan of the lancer...and as a 2-time mistu owner...not a fan of mitsubishi's in general as the fall apart, especially once the warranty is done.

yea dude you will be laughed at if you get the ralliart lancer and not the Evo..if i was you i would just pay it off and save up for a turbo. The Evo is nice but its just a car with awd and a engine that has a turbo. The engine is nothing without a turbo and the awd is only up to 60 mph then it switches to rear. Stay with the tC..im pretty sure it holds some kind of sentimental value.

its either keep the tc or get an evo.

Pay it off, and keep saving then get the s/c (or turbo if you have an extra couple grand)
