just wondering what cars you s/c guys are beating and hanging with. i just ordered mine from trdsparks. im tired of cobalt ss's, and wanna smoke a certain 1 around my way

If u want to beat a cobalt ss trd sc is not the way, go for a turbo kit. the sc is design for extra driveability, the cobalt is much quiker with there supercharged setup. try the back yard brawler kit same price as supercharger. you can find it at whyindustries.com they have great turbo kit starting at $1999

From a roll I beat stock ones, but I certantly do not walk on them.... then again i have a modded s/c....

id love to beat em but i just am getting tired of them tearing me new 1. if i can hang then thats fine.

i dont really wanna go turbo. i got a auto and if i did turbonetics or greddy would be my only choice. i have i/h/e and in a few days s/c, but how do you guys like the 9.5 pulley? also am thinking about a emanage.

these guys are scared. It all depends on your setup. if you got the $$$$, sky is the limit.

With the proper tune, and the right supporting mods, the trd s/c can get down to low 14's.

I've beaten supercharged cobalts with my set up and I am still on the TRD reflash.

true, just add a nst 12 psi pulley,watermeth,and emanage ultimate tuned it will bring you around 260hp. another grand or so will boost it up a little

I didnt say I was scared of a supercharged cobalt. Those things can move though from the factory, especially the new turbo charged ones.

my thing is with just my bolt ons i wanna be able to hang with a rsx type s, new si, and cobalts.

i read in a import magazine that the si only has 176 whp like they showed the dino because they were throwing on add ons to see how much they made a difference. was i ready right. i was last months import.

hi raced an si b4 and won havent went after a cobalts yet.. but im sure im past them even if they have there stage 2. on them...

everything is tougher for us auto guys..

with i/h/e, you will still get walked by the type-s, si, and cobalt ss unless the driver of the other cars screw up.

with i/h/e and s/c, you'll be able to hang/beat type-s with bolt-ons, (dont know about the si's), but you still wont be able to get those cobalt guys. i'm not sure what the stock ss's run on the 1/4 mile, but last time i saw some at the track, one was running 14.3s and the other was running 14.5s.

I hung side by side with an RSX-S with the stock s/c and Forge 007 shimmed to the full 7lbs peak and I smoked the same TSX-S twice while boosting only 8-8.5lbs peak with the NST pulley. Coulda been the TSX-S driver or I could be fast... I don't normally race against anyone so I don't really know.

i've never seen a stock SI pull 196whp, high 180s is the best i've seen.

how has a stock si pulled 196 whp that thing is rated 197 flywheel?? I mean i understand they all dont come out the same from the factory a few hp difference but that seems a lil skeptical!
