depends how good of a driver u are, if u r good and leave the line without much tire smoke u might be able to get 14.7 give or take 1/10 of a second this is guessing that u have a 5 spd.

If you're a good driver, the times in my sig are very possible. It's 1/8th mile, but it's the fastest 1/8th time ive seen posted for a S/C tC. :D

i can sense you want to go real fast,

go turbo

go drag radials

and for somebody to say not, the author already mentioned pulley which means voided warranty. so go turbo.

Let me behind the wheel of Karls car, Ill show you guys what the S/C guys can do. Sooner or later somebody with the S/C will see 12's.

How much more money is that gonna cost you then a turbo though.

Turbo is the way to go. Dollar for dollar, turbo is better (meaning less money, more power) if speed is want you want.

^^^ HahHAHhAHhha.... $ for $ S/C > Turbo.
<<< $3000 installed here. The potential of the S/C hasnt been seen yet, everybody just gets the badpress that comes along with it. For me I just like being different, going turbo is like jumping on a fan boy wagon right now...everybody wants to do it. Id rather take the route less traveled.

And besides, I like being able to beat unsuspecting people, that think they're gunna walk all over me when they see a stock looking tC... (no FMIC)

^^^There is a reason it has not been reached yet, richie rich hasn't surpcharged his ride.

Also, with all fairness to the supercharged guys, not many parts have been put out or it either, so it makes the job of obtaining 12's a lot harder and more expensive (custom work). I'm still n/a, so if the supercharge guys can get up to 12's, I'd go supercharged for sure. Turbo RIGHT NOW is the way to go though IMO.

Agreed, it's the lack of Aftermarket Support that makes being faster that much more difficult. It's not gunna stop me from trying though. I'm aiming for/above Karls #'s by this time next year. Theres a long list of parts on the way there. CF hatch, Wheels, Meth Injection, Greddy Ultimate E-Manage, 14psi pulley, Tune... and so on, and then shooting for low 13's high 12's.

With a nice set of sticky rubber and light shoe's, I think high 12's are very possible.
