Nice Work, one of the few owners of the tc giving it a good name.

Congrats! Off Topic, is the trans fluid meant for daily use ? I know the 300v Oil is meant for race use only since i heard it produces residue if not used in high stress environments.

I know there is the Motul Gear Fluid 300 oil and 300v Engine Oil

Then there is the then the Motyl Gear and the 8100 Series. What would you recommend for daily.

The Gear 300 should be just fine, but I'll talk to Motul directly and get the skinny to see if they'd recommend something else for daily-driven street use. You're right, there are a lot of products in their lineup. =)

Thanks I just heard the 300v/300gear applications are meant for race setup only because they contain an ingredient that leaves a residue for high temp applications as a layer of protection on the internal components of the car.

There are some locals and some customers who run the 300V daily and are not full blown race cars. This is there premium abuse oil is what I call it. If you want to run something more along the lines of a Redline or Mobil 1, check out the econo nergy 5W30 motor oil. We have PLENTY of people that run that without problems. As a matter of fact, I run the Motul Econo-Nergy in ALL of my cars: The Wife's 06 tC, The shop's 08 xB, My 01 IS300....That says enough I hope?

I think he was asking about trans fluid. Motul says that Gear 300 should be fine. It's exactly what we use in the racecar. That product has the friction modifiers. The other option that's for daily use is MultiGear 75/90. If you're into aggressive driving even on the street, Gear 300 might be a better choice.

As for engine oil, 5-30 XMax is a good daily driven oil. If you want something that provides better fuel economy, you could use a 0-20 8100. Even though it's lighter, it has an ester that helps keep evaporation down.

Thanks for the Forza stuff! Probably need to ditch the Recaro stickers, as we are now sponsored by Racetech.
