Should it not be at max rpm with a supercharger? Unless there's an issue with the setup I assume.

correct me if i am wrong, but isn't supercharger boost level directly related to the engine rpm's?

yeah, just about 7, i think my gauge MAY be reading wrong. my vac line pops out every so often. gotta get a clamp to hold the vac line down.

stock belt?

i'm asking because i saw 9lb on a 9.5 setup at 5666 on the dyno...not sure if there was a fuel cut after that.
at first i was bummed about only 9, but realized i probably would have gotten more to redline.

Your belt may be slipping. Or you don't really have a 9psi pulley.

*edit* Actually a belt slipping will decrease boost. I'm not sure why you're getting such high psi at that rpm.

why? you think i should be seeing 9.5 at what rpm?

I think they are rated for redline (6200)...So if I am seeing 9 at 5666...pretty good, no?

No - you should only get that psi at redline. Unless your gauge is a little off, 5600 rpm should yield a little less than 9psi.

Your boost raises in relation to rpm.

of course it raises...thats why I think 9 at 5700 would be about 9.5 at 6200.
my concern earlier was that 9 was too low and might be belt slippage...but i am atually happy with that number.

Ah got ya - well the only way to tell is to go out there and test it. Keep an eye on your boost gauge and see what you get at redline.

Why did you say that you think there could have been fuel cut right after 5666?

yeah you should see max boost at redline if you've got a bypass valve that will hold it, and if your belt isnt slipping. it shouldn't be cutting you're fuel off unless you tuned it to do that or if you hit the speed limiter...or you just run out of gas

most likely they just let off the gas around 5800. i wasn't at the dyno run, so i am just guessing that's why it tails off there.
even buddha's run posted above goes only to about 5959

it wouldnt make too much sense if they tuned it to cutoff the fuel if it saw more than 9psi..you told them it was a 9.5psi pulley right? and cutting the fuel before redline is even more questionable . go out for a drive and take it all the way to redline and see what your gauge reads. half a pound of boost really isn't much anyways..if you have it thats good, if not, it's not gonna impact the outcome if you were in a race.

Absolutely. But I'm not interested in his .5 psi... I'm interested if he gets more than 9.5 psi at redline since he's aready at 9 at 5600 rpm. He's got another 900 rpm before our stated redline of 6500.
