Saw this kit... opinions?

Hey guys,
I was the one that took the pictures and it's my girlfriends car. It was a used custom kit that she picked up for $2k installed.
I'm not a fan of the instal due to the fact that 3 of the oilpan bolts were finger tight and leaking oil like hell.
I can post any other pics or videos.
Also, there is no boost guage in the car at the moment, I'm going to be ordering a autometer phantom tonight, but I'm looking for some suggestions on where to mount it.

holy crap for 2k installed thats a deal!
that means u could probably get it for around maby 1.6k which is amazing for a turbo kit.
really its hard to mess up a turbo kit. If all the parts fit perfectly it all lies in the tuning. With all the money you save, you should might aswell go buy something to tune it with and still walk away with a steal compared to the competition.

No way to sell something like that as a business and stay in business, that cheap that is. I am building my own kit so have a pretty good idea on how much things cost(I do not pay retail;)

Yep, used, I sold a far more advanced kit that was barely used from my last car project for less than this one sold for used.
DIY, you could do something similar for the same money, probably less but you would still have a very basic low boost setup.

Hello everyone. Sorry i havent been online in a while. I havent posted up nuch on the scion forums due to me not having my Scion anymore. Im now driving a 2004 RX8.
Anyway, to answer some questions about the kit.
This kit was a kit that we used on my car for a bout 5 months or so. I recently sold the kit to a friend of mine. The kit was all made by me and uses a custom steel log style manifold.
the kit includes:
T3/T4 style turbo .57 trim
Manifold
Wastegate 38mm
Blow off valve
FMIC (with universal piping)
oil lines
& all misc clamps couplers and fittings.
If anyone is interested or has any questions about the kit, then please feel free to email me.
thanks,
Chris
