The car sounded pretty mean on the dyno, as fas as the engine sounded pretty decent to me, just valves are loud kind of..
Rythm i have PLXdevices wideband , so whats bad about dynojet ?
SoFlo when i wot it jumps to 11.5, but half throttle its at 13s
did you guys see the video on first page ?

nothing bad about dynojet, its just the numbers are higher compared to mustang and DD. If you dyno with mustang or DD you will only be around 260-270ish hp/tq at 11.6 psi.. checking the video

I'm not sure now what the final run was on, lol.. as i told him to set my boost controller for high according to the last run, and on high boost setting it does go past 9 psi.
looking at the dyno, do can you guys tell ?
also, motor mount i was thinking about them, how hard are they to install ? i need to drop the engine for it right ?
also i heard after install everything in the starts shacking no ?

its definately hotter today then it was yestarday.
also i noticed in thrid gear for example at 40 roll, when i go WOT at some moment there is a little sputter like engine dumps alot of fuel and then it goes to 11.5 AFR , it was doing it on the dyno a little he took care of it, but its happening sometimes.. He told if i have something like to log it with FIC and send it to him .
what do you guys think it might be ?
raced my friends cobalt SS today non-S/C on low boost, cobalt has intake and exhaust.
on low boost i from 40 roll i walked away from him 3 cars up tp like 7-mph, also i was at 60-70% of throttle.
i found ALOT of ricers in san angelo, lol...
i was driving from the lake and saw riced out eclipse he followed me and then heard my BOV and would not line up with me nor look at me.
his buddy in a civic si actuallya nice one besided 5 stickers on each side was behind him and just looked at me but would not line up with me as well, he beat my buddy in a cobalt and asked him what i had, lol my friend told him i had 300HP so he for some reason would want to run me...
i dont get that logic i would not mind loosing to a cobra or whatever its faster then it faster nothing bad. but maybe i get lucky next time.
i really wanna run the new SI and see what happens. I wanna do it on low boost without brake boosting or anything.
Ohh btw Rythm i tried brake boosting yestarday on the way back from Austin it works, lol

yeah i think i would just wanna see the drivers face most of them thnk they are the fastest..
SoFlo you know what i noticed is that when i do a pull from 40 in 3rd, cars does pull as hard as it is on top end..is that because of the s-pipe back 3'' inch ?

Hey guys i have a question...
Yestarday i was trying to find out the best way to launch the car and basically what i did was raised RPM's to 3000 and dumped the clutch i was on low boost and i was sitting in one place spinning...
How do you guys launch the car for example at the track ? should i like raise RPM to something and then ease off or ?

The best way I found to launch was like this.
1. stop as soon as the 2nd stage light pops on.
2. Pull E-Brake
3. Rev to 2800 RPMS
4. Release the clutch till the car jerks forward, and hold the clutch at that point (the car wont move because the E-brake is up)
5. On the 3rd yellow light release the E-brake and slip the clutch your off.
This is the best way to launch no question.
Or get yourself a WOT box and you will build boost while you are stopped and it lets you flat foot shift. FFS will let you hold boost through gears also.
With my WOT box I was running high 8's in the 1/8 on street tires and only 7 psi

How do you keep the intake pipe and charge pipe that goes into the throttle body from rubbing against each other ?
i guess its mainly towards Dezod guys, because touching and scratching and there is one spot there where i hope will not develop a hole or something.
I had a pieace of rubber there but i noticed today while driving in 1st and 2nd gear there was some kind of noise like if you have a fan at home and try to touch the propeller lightly while its spinning, so i looked under my hood and couldnt find anything abnormal, but noticed that the rubber between the pipes is GONE ! ) now i'm think is it possible its stock somewhere ?
or you guys think it just fell down and out ?
