*LOL* sorry guys, Still waiting on electronic valves that I was told two weeks ago could be lost in transit from overseas...

In the mean time I have been experimenting with various intake designs, pipe sizes etc...

My current is running killer but a tad rich so I had to order in some custom slightly larger pipe to lean it out a bit more than it is now.

So far though, no cel! Sounds killer also. I think this short ram with a forge 007 or a turbo xs bov would make a killer sound. Will know more. It is a very very simple intake design made for flow. It uses a k&n extreme filter "top plastic part of the filter, is actually not plastic, but a filter as well! The cool part about it is that it has a bolt on the top of the filter that allows a small mounting bracket to brace the whole assembly useing a stock threaded fender hole... Anyways here is a quick photos... Still have allot to do and have to make the blockoffplace from the engine bay but it gives the basic idea. Price should be pretty darn low on it as it is just a short ram setup. I will not make a cai as the monsoons are here in PHX and I do not want anyone having hydrolocked engines as many have.

On the normal s/c setup ....from what i hear .... there are a few extra horses that get jammed in the stock airbox. Now that hp is increasing that hp locked in the box should grow also. A new design (like you have) will be great ....and dyno results...even better. Can't wait

am I just crazy or has no one thought of cutting the MAF sensor part of the INJEN intake, welding it to the CAI part and there ya go, cold air intake with an SC, or would that not work for some reason???

I think a short ram is more than sufficient. Whatever "cooler" air that you would be sucking in with a cai would just be heated up when it got spun and shot out by the s/c so the effects would be negligable imo.

Sorry guys I will not be giving any out free at all. I am 100% honest in my testing. If dyno results show any of the designs do not net anything worth a darn I will tell ya. I will be testing stock intake. Stock with k&n filter, my design with 2.5od pipe and then one with 2.75" od pipe. I will keep all of you informed on the progress. So far the butt dyno says weeeeeeeeeee and it made the car sound really cool under hard throttle. Normal driving you would not even know it was there. So far so good, no cell with it at all!

Can't wait Garage! If this thing gives any gain and keeps the AFR in check w/ no CEL, my credit card is ready!

its nice to see someone actually put out an intake for the s/c. I custom made mine a few months ago because I couldn't wait. It works pretty well and you can definitely hear it when i'm at WOT. Here is a pic

so basically, your having a CAI with sucks in a lil bit more air, and to compensate for that extra air your venting it thru a BOV?

is that the basic plan?

Supercahrges Matrix's had to get a A/F Controller to contrl the amount of air from a CAI if they added it to a Supercharger.
