Scion Presents: PTUNING Dyno Shoot-Out & Car Show!

Due to the aggressive racing negative front camber setting we had on the ptuning tc, we could not get proper traction for a clean pull--the car kept breaking loose on the roller when the boost kicked in--it also jumped up the rollers a few time. I think the number we managed that night was 412whp. The number we had two days before the event, when we were tuning it with proper traction was 457.9whp=513whp dynojet.
We will be putting the tc back on the dyno later this week to finish the tune for 500whp on our dyno=560whp dynojet. Will also try to post a video of the that dyno pull.
We'll also be tearing the race motor apart to inspect the bearings, piston skirt, and cam followers to see how the clearances we used are working out. We're mainly concern about the cam follower wear with the dual spring setup, high lift cam and 7800rpm redline. We will be testing out the DLC-coated billet chromoly cam followers on the 2nd race motor. The DLC coating will be an option for the cylinder head package, especially for those looking to run high rpm on the motor.
We are also working on a M/T transmission upgrade service that includes Cryogenetically treating all the gears, shafts, shift forks, syncros and REM Isotropic Superfinishing (ISF) these components for greater strength, higher wear resistance and reduction in friction and heat buildup.
