the only reason i would consider a s/c safer than a turbo is bc you can't istall a boost controller LMAO

.............and it cant overboost ............. so your tune is true'er .......... and also the boost is linear to the rpm instead of a jolt in spike (on an engine not really designed for FI .... but handles it well).

idk, to me a s/c feels safer, and it probably is or probably isnt, lol..i have that feeling that if i get a turbo something will happen to my car, but im still gonna make the s/c pretty fast...what kind of tuning do you need with those ripp custom cams?

ohhh .... that all depends what you have. You can can more hp out of it then the eman blue ... how much .... im not sure. I think 10-25hp depending on the tuner. The eman ult has more options to tune with

or u can run the basik with 410 injectors no ecu upgrades and low boost and prolly get the numbers you want. turbos are more efficient than superchargers and are safer due to the way there is not always that preasure on the pistons due to the fact the supercharger is in boost idleing. with a turbo u can drive around town all day and not feel it much. if u get the turbo tuned u will make more power than a supercharger with cams.

^ a s/c is not in boost idling ....................... And you always want every FI car tuned nomatter what. THe s/c comes with the TRD tune ...which is still a tune. Please read the form because I dont want new people reading this post and making really bad decisions. You can't cut corners when boosting .... it will lead to you spending money and being very very mad.

anytime you do a big mod like cams i always reccomend hitting the dyno for a re tune. i mean... you could install the cams and not see much of a hp gain bc your car isnt tuned for them. hit the dyno, retuning for a mod like that isnt a big deal and would net you the best results!

i didnt quite mean it like that. i meant that superchargers put more stress on the motor even just idleing, unless you have a pulley set to help out with the extra stress. i understand tunning is a big plus but with the basik low boost and 410 injectors u are still running really safe. you cant tune the trd tune can you ? either way you would have to do an ecu upgrade why not get the most out of ur money and buy the ecu and turn up the boost and blow by the supercharged tc;s

i have 2 emag ult for sale. i was going to use one for my car, but i'll probably end up going with a standalone when the time comes. the other is used, and tuned for a zpi stage 1 kit using stock fuel injectors. i was going to install it in my wifes car and retune it, but i got a deal on a emag blue and its working flawlessly, and when we shoot for 325whp, the blue will be more than suitable for her =)

No sense in doing cams just for a S/C. You will see minimal gains for maximum $. If you were to rebuild the motor and valvetrain to run much higher revs, then cams would be useful.

i would buy the basik kit, but ive never seen or heard numbers about it, and when i called the guys from turbotoyotas, no one answered, and i called 3 times during the week and left emails and left PM's to that one guy in here from TT...and still no response from them...maybe the only reason i dont wunna go with that one is because i have no knowledge of that turbo kit, not even price...so if anyone could give me a buttload of info on that, it would help
