Default scion tc superchager ECU RPM problems.....

i have recently had the TRD S/C installed and about a week later had the ECU reflashed, before the reflash it was running decent, but after the reflash the car will not stay running. once it hits 1000 RPMs it dies constantly......i took apart the intake side of the S/C and noticed oil leaking out of the PVC pipe into the piping that flows into the intake manifold..........any help or advice, solutions.......thanks

ok......i reinstalled the new injectors and the fuel rail is nice and tight, so its getting plenty of fuel. My spark plugs were white with a little orange, too lean and this is after ZPI reflashed my ECU. basically what i believe is that when ZPI reflashed they set my RPMs down to 500 which in turn kills the car, which will not idle. Is there any way to set the RPMs higher???? anybody help?

the reflash is the same for every reflash out there. nobody can set the idle by reflashing the car.

ok let me get this straight.. you ran your s/c before the reflash? i know i dont have a s/c but isn't it necesarry to reflash it being the vol of air and the amount of fuel, given the injector size all changed with the trd kit?? correct me if i'm wrong... unless you had your car just sitting there..

Did zpi reflash your ecm for your automatic? There are 2 seperate reflashes for auto's. One of which to my knowledge only a dealer can perform. Who did your install? Are you sure everything is tight?

yes, ZPI did do my reflash for my AT. i have 2 friends that aer certified GM mechanics that did the install, i did run it after the install and was getting 6 PSI with no CEL codes. it was running great. then after the reflash, the air to fuel ratio was adjusted plus the timing, but after the ECU was put back in the car will die every time unless you keep the gas pedal down

You are not suppose to drive the car. no matter what, without the ECU reflash. It's been discussed before and everybody who have done the same, have met tragic fates to their S/C.

Thats his problem! Somebody tampered with his A/F ratio and timing. This wasn't needed and is causing they cell codes! Unless your running at higher boosts levels, there is no need to adjust the timing and A/F ratio.

i have no CEL codes, the car just wont stay running, being AT the reflash should compinsate to give more fuel. AT cars do need more fuel when FI, correct? I have to give it gas just to keep it idling. The SC is fine, its the car itself that won't stay on. The TRD reflash remaps the timing and the A/F ratio, correct? if not what does the reflash do?......

Did you take the car to zpi to have it flashed? Or just send it in? The auto's have a seperate flash that changes shift parameters.

i had the car taken down to ZPI, instead of mailing the ECU. on the side of the ECU it says A/T or M/T. I didn't drive it down though, i had a buddy transport it for me. Should i take it to a dealer or back to ZPI? can the ECU be flashed more than once????

Are you using "Premium" gasoline? I haven't seen anyone ask you this!

by driving it without the flash you'll have a hard time getting authorized for warranty work. you are not supposed to drive your car at all without the reflash (or both reflashes, since you're running an automatic.)
