Check your factory vaccum lines... I had an issue with my car not staying running unless you reved the gas.. I found a vaccum hose on the intake manifold had come undone just abit, but enough to keep it from running.

i would prolly also worry about what you might have done to the engine itself by driving the car without running both separete TRD flashes... bad things have happened when the m/t run without the ONE flash i hate to think what might happen with the a/t not running both...

check your compression lol. TRD sparks told me that a guy who installed the SC drove it for 2 weeks and everything was fine untill he had no compression in one of his cylinders. Also, yea vacuum lines might be a problem but when you have a vacuum leak the car usually wont start or idle very weak and then turn off. but dude, you shouldnt have driven it at all.

first of all how many miles on your orig ecm ? one thing about all trottlebodeis with out cable , and no idle control valve, your idle will be controled by your TPS on trottle body and will auto adjust idle ,after you reflash all ecm's it's values will go to default setting, so if your trottle body is dirty default setting will be lower than before causing stalling at idle ,ecm will be thinking, trottle is closed. all you need to do is clean trottle body. this may solve your problem

I don't know yoursciontc.com is a good forum, but ppl tend to be close minded. "Don't do that, waste of time, don't do this..." So I stick to this forum.

Close minded? They're skeptical. When it comes to my car, I'd trust the skeptical opinions before any other opinions.

But uhh, I'm curious about how the car is going by now. This post showed up over a month ago.

Chill dude, I was just saying they're skeptical. Lol, didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you. But yea their skepticism to many people looks a lot like closemindedness.
We cool?

Nature of internet... it happens. No harm no foul; I guess you're on edge because of that oil incident. Smart guy to stop the car at the hint of oil; not smart guy to run his car without the reflash.
