CALLED TRD RIGHT NOW..

the guy on the phone said it will be the same as the 05-06 just that the problems will be worked out.

however, he didnt really sound like he knew anything when i started actually asking him questions.

however, his ETA is, anytime now.. so expect it.

How can a huge company like TRD employ people and have them answer phone calls when so many of them seem to have no idea about their own products? I can not seem to understand this :?

The fact that they built a supercharger... Well, hopefully if I go the supercharger route, the "'07" will fit the older cars then. I wonder if they will sell it in a distinguishable way. ie) v1.2 etc. I'm sure a lot of older SCers will be sold to buyers thinking they're getting the new and improved...if it is improved.

I definetly heard about the 07 supercharger with watercooling which is why you may see that intercooler. This is from ScionEvo gforums from people who have had meetings with trd.

I wonder if they will help us 05 people out by replacing anything on our current superchargers to assure us nothing wont go wrong.

that's what i'm getting at..fitment with a new vehicle is one thing...

but correcting problems is another. if significant enough, should be a recall/TSB for glaring problems.

I hope TRD give the tC more power. Because here is what the compitition is.
TRD s/c tc.-$21,000 , 200 hp
mazdaspeed 3 $22000 260 hp
Dodge Caliber $SRT-4 22000, 300 hp.
Honda civic SI, $21,000- 197 hp.
Sentra Se-R spec V will be 200 hp and about 19-21000 bucks. Really if you look at the field, nothing about a supercharged tC at 200 hp is that special. make it 220-230 and it starts to become a performance bargin again.
