thats how Dynapack's work, it is being tested at the wheels
The Dynapack™ direct couples to the wheel hubs and applies a precisely controlled hydraulic load. This method of direct coupling plus its built-in strength means the Dynapack™ is always in control of the vehicle.

sweet numbers btw ...

That is correct. Dynapacks tend to read roughly 10hp higher than say dynojet dyno's.

The upper limit at this time is 22 pounds. The Turbonetics turbo would not produce good boost above that level. Sometime in the future, I'll switch to another turbo and go all the way to 28+ pounds.

For now, I'm happy and I can't wait to go to the track!

Thank you to Twins Turbo (www.twinsturbo.com) for getting my ride to a new level.

Here's the dyno chart:

dyno pull vid clip coming soon... thanks all for your patience and support.
Nice numbers man, you can definitely get more...I plan on building my engine I think I am going to do a head first. You are limited by your turbo for real though, to much of a small turbo to make big hp. I have a 60trim comp .58 turbine housings and I when I build the motor I will probably need a bigger to hit my goal of 600whp.

yes, Turbonetics kit.

As for horsepower, I think the one they use is conservative. For fun next week, I'm going to another place and throw it on a Dynojet for a few pulls and see what's what.

I dont get how you still have a stage2 clutch w/ that much hp. I have the stage3 clutch (which is overkill for me) but I would have put a stage4 in your car.

How much does that ECU go for?

Holy $%^$%#$!!! The harnesses are $500+ so i bet the units are wildly expensive! I can't wait to see how much he say it costed him .... and i wonder how long it takes to tune

jwaggz, you are very close

The harness was a custom build by GP Motorsports.

I ran it at 15 pounds tonight at the LACR track. Got three clean runs in, high 13's, which is ok considering I'm a pretty crappy driver (terrible launches, just terrible).

On the fourth run, she quit making boost, so I did one more run and called it quits. Will be investigating why I have no boost tomorrow. :: sigh ::

At some point I'll program this new controller to do boost-by-gear, something I think will help a lot, but hey it was just the first day -- all in good time.

glad you had fun at the track. its all in practice. your numbers should dip down into the low 12's, easily.
Did you run stock tires?

i lost boost a few times at the track. now that you are running so much boost your vaccum lines will come flying off alot easier. make sure to secure all of them really well.

Running at the track is deff not the same as running on the street. I was getting A TON more wheel spin on the track. Three reasons why that happend: 1.) no slicks 2.) the track compound w/ street tires 3.) bad scionvip track conditions (but free is free so thats fine w/ me).

You deff have to go to the track more then a few times before you really start to work out the things you are doing well. Once your manpower takes hold of you you stop thinking clear.

Brett is right you probably blew off a vac line. Give some details on the engine. Compression ration on the pistons?manufacturer of internals? head work?
