^^Nice....So, does the AEM have the ability to control the VVT-I? I believe the Hydra does, wondering if the AEM does.

I love how when the rev limit is increased on the tC, and we put the bigger turbos on, the power band NEVER falls. Pulling all the way to redline. I remember Brian said his pulled all the way to redline as well.

I like how you have the company logos in the stripe! And that's the CF hood I wanted...let us know how it holds up to the heat.

But what springs do you have on? The fronts look higher then the rears.

That's the Seibon version of that hood right? Does the Seibon one come with a rain guard? The AIT version of the same hood (which I have) comes with the rain guard.

The heat it supposed to escape or dissipate thru the vent. For now I have no signs of problems due to heat. I have Tein H and it probably looks higher on the front due to the surface were the car was or the 2 gel batteries and the sound system on the back of the car. It looks even on flat surfaces!!!!!

Yes it's the Seibon one and nop it doesn't come with rain guard but no problems yet whit that either.

Why because You rarely get rain, or don't drive in the rain? I know not to get the Seibon version now, cause I would need a rain guard (well, I guess I could make my own.. ).

It's done, he just has to get time to get down to Houston to pick it up. He has been real busy, moved twice, club administration stuff...just a lot on his plate. 542whp was the final numbers on that one if I recall. Transmission got worked out as well. I believe he had the tranny swapped out and sourced out a 2005 Transmission. Funny thing is, that's what I ended up having in ours too, an 05 tranny.

I think on like 13 psi it was around 345whp (low compression), and I forget what PSI the 542whp numbers where made. Didn't want to go above that though, as it still has a stock intake mani. His dyno graph pulls all the way to redline without falling toward the end as well.

DAMN can't wait to see my graph do that...lol.

i bet his top end power is sick!!!!! i figured the car would have produced more torque than that.

At the rpm,s were the engine is supposed to make peak torque numbers the engine is only pushing 18psi! The 23psi is a boost spike towards the end of the run!.

Bad news guys ...

A couple of days ago SCIONGT35R installed some BFGoodrich's g-Force™ T/A® Drag Radial on the stock 17" wheels to go and try launching with them on the local 1/8th mile track. Tried a couple of times with uncontrollable wheel spin even at 14 psi!

We called a friend who is the official team driver and while making the burnout at the track the engine died! The engine crankshaft locked up. After tearing down the engine it was found that rod #3 bearings where the ones that caused the locking of the crankshaft. The crankshaft is not good so we are going to find a new stock one to install.

The rest of the rod bearings are completely OK and so are the main bearings. The car didn't had an oil pressure gauge installed so we don't know if it was a problem with the oil pressure or if it was caused by anything else.

That sucks! Believe me I know.lol You think it could have had anything to do with the last problem? What bearing are you using?
