So...lets get one thing straight, you cant say you respect CHRIS RADO then slam DESCENDANT or WORLD Racing...doesnt really work that way!

The DESCENDANT Intake Manifold has had DYNO sheet's posted on the internet from us & customers and can easily support that the product makes power. If your looking to find it in the current thread here on SL you have scroll back thru the 10 pages of BS first. However, don't worry. The dyno charts will be made easier to find really soon.
The intake manifold thread that you started on August 31, 2009 is here:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=170371

That is also the thread that you posted on yesterday.

Unless you've gone back and edited an earlier post since yesterday, there is no dyno chart posted anywhere in that thread. I went through every post on every page looking for it. I believe there are 4 different posts by you that state that one will be posted soon, including the last one where you said:

"wow...you guys are relentless.

DYNO sheets related to this product have been posted here & there in the thread & on others since we started selling them and if you were honestly in the market for one of our DESCENDANT Intake manifold and were looking for DATA & not just busting my ***** you would have found it by now if you simply looked or picked up the phone to call us.

However, don't worry, I'm currently working on getting them scanned & online so that I can post them here on SL for all of you to see."

And yet, still, there is no dyno chart posted. If we follow the link in your sig to Descendant Racing's website and look at the manifold... guess what? No dyno chart. So tell me, Rob, if you say that you're going to provide us with a dyno chart in a specific thread and you fail to post it, and there is no dyno chart posted on the web-page for the item in question, then where is the logical place that we're supposed to be looking?

You say that if we we're actually interested in buying it then we would be doing better research? I say if you had any faith in your product then you would be more interested in selling it. Researching a product means verifying the manufacturer's claims, which is what we've been trying to do since August 31, 2009.

I'm talking to you, Rob - you, specifically - because you are the one that is coming on to this Scion community website as a vendor and treating us like were tourists in Tijuana. Yes, you have a right to post on the SL message boards. But as a vendor, I would expect a little more professionalism. If you make huge claims that you can't back up, then you will get treated just like anyone else on the SL message boards that does that. That means you're gonna get flamed. Frankly, you're acting just like most people do when they get flamed - rather than give us a reason to believe what you're saying, you're just getting defensive and repeating yourself.

I think you're lucky, to be perfectly honest, that people are targeting you, rather than Descendant and World Racing. If everyone believed that you were an accurate representation of the companies that you work for, then those companies wouldn't have any customers here. I expect the only reason that you still do is because of Chris Rado's track record, and the reviews that some people have provided for your turbo kits.

So, please, Rob, please give us a reason to trust you. Please give us a reason to believe in your product. The reason we're all here is because we do want a quality product that does exactly what you claim it does. We know you can make a tC go very fast. We just want a taste of that for our own cars. But don't make the mistake of thinking that we're gullible or stupid. We do research products before we spend money on them, and most people aren't gonna waste $700 on an untested and unproven product. So, please... I have no doubt that you have dyno sheets for that manifold, and we know you have dyno sheets for that car... show us what you've got. Otherwise, you're just wasting our time.

If you can't produce something this time, then I, for one, wont ever be dealing with you. I'll take my business to a more reputable company that can back up what they claim. It's your move.

i plan on buying from rob a lot in the future, i have had nothing but great experiences in the past with customer service and Rob is the only guy ive talked to over there as far as purchases. maybe he hasnt gotten those sheets posted for u yet (in the exact spot that you want them). but to me that doesnt matter, that exact manifold is on a car pushing a proven 899whp. if u want gains, turn up the boost. im sure it can handle it. and if it does break, tell Rob, hell take care of u. really

c'mon guys. lets not wake the mods. if everyone is so hardcore on doing there research on a product, then a dyno shouldn't even be necessary. the descendant intake manifold is a pretty simple design, large plenum and short runners. this design will favor more high boost and high rpm setup. once the large plenum is fully pressurized the air flow will improve drastically. since max boost is seen in the top part of the powerband this is also where the gains will be realized. on the flip side low to mid range torque will probably suffer a little. ultimately, gains will vary based on boost levels and rpm's.

i've been saying that before that this mani is only for high boosted cars and that n/a or low boosted cars wont benefit from the manifold.

oh and tokenguy yes the manifold is in the car that i bet made extra power for that car but again that a really high boosted car compared to a daily driver that most people on this forum have.

all opinions aside ROB seriously i can almost promise you will boost sells drastically proving this scion community your claims or what that manifold can do on a before and after dyno with same tune just AFR adjusted. on high boost ofcorse. and yes dyno arent anything really but it proves alot in alot of peoples mines that it is worth 700 bucks to spend. by the way i always liked your manifold (how it looked) but just never wanted to spend much on it cause 1. didnt need it. 2. didnt have money to spend on something i didnt know would benefit me.
but i gotta give it to you guys your the only vendor on here that has attempted a intake manifold. except weapon r.

Since a few desided to ruin this thread and go on about the DESCENDANT intake manifold I'll repost the DYNO's again!

Here are the long awaited DESCENDANT Intake manifold results as promised.

First sheet below is dated and belongs to a local customer that came to WORLD Racing originally looking for the DESCENDANT Turbo Kit...an older gentlemen who wanted more passing power in his Scion but nothing flashy. So...first goes DESCENDANT Turbo Kit @ 8-9psi with TRD exhaust:

After a few months go by (look at the dated dyno chart) customer comes back looking for more power but wants his daily driver to remain stealth. So, we add intake manifold & fuel rail and gave it a shot. Below are he’s next dyno numbers...these pulls are his second dyno attempt with the DESCENDANT Turbo Kit at 8-9psi, the TRD exhaust & now the intake manifold & fuel rail. Plus TRD Clutch & LSD.

Basically after tuning the OEM fuel system to the MAX we gained about 20WHP & 30TQ at the same basic 8-9psi boost level. Granite we spent 4 hours on the dyno but that's the price to pay to play at this level. If you do things half ___'ed you'll get half ___'ed results.

Above are pictures of his engine bay. Also note all dyno numbers above are all thru the OEM air box with TRD drop in filter. :D

BTW...
If those numbers are not enough here are more from a dynojet instead of a DynoPak!

All dynos are different as I have stated before & MOST importantly...I’ve never claimed that this Intake manifold would bolt-on & make power without TUNING!

We have nothing to hide & want to continue building the highest quality parts available for everyone’s Scion’s. If people want to criticize that understandable but don’t get butt hurt when I come back with truth.

Now who’s ready to buy?? If you call me today at the shop 310.533.8900 & tell me me you’ve been following this SCIONLIFE thread I’ll give you an EXTRA $150 CASH OFF the price of the Descendant Intake Manifold and you can still have the free S&H!

I'm still skeptical about this. But I'm reasonable and thanks for he dyno proven sheets. And that 150 off and free shipping makes this intake manifold a great buy. By the way I don't think anyone was butt hurt. People just want to feel secure that there hard earned money is being spent good.
Economy is rough out there. And again thanks for coming through.
Quick question do you have to mod anything in the intercooler piping to fit this intake manifold?

To many know it alls and to many people to point fingers at every little thing like there perfect. That's y I'm bout to get rid of my built motor turboed tc. Cause the import scene and the import car fourms are getting retared for real y'all need to chill out and like I allways tell people talk ____ when u can open a biz and build something better till then shut it

The DESCENDANT Intake manifold was designed to work with anyone's intercooler / intake pipe set-up as long as you have the DESCENDANT Install kit which is included when purchased new from us or one of our authorized dealers. All included for the price
