Default which side of the forced induction ?

Which kit should I go with on an 07 MT ?

TRD SC with corresponding warranted stuff and make it "look faster"?
OR
ZPI stage 0 w/ AEM EMS and J-Parts (while keeping OE look)

I'm not planning on N2O since my friend blew a built for N2O type R B16.

Do you mean the new AEM F/IC Emangae piggyback that is $400? Or the AEM Standalone Emanage which is $2000?

^^ Japanese branded parts...

I plan on buying a used AEM EMS from an EG6 owner (a friend) who bought an Escape hybrid and his selling the 2 yr old EMS for 500.

Should I go with TRD SC with non warranty voiding upgrades and get 230HP, or should I damn the warranty and get a level1 kit and do more stuff to get 300 + horses?

I'd really like to know which has a deeper tone...

a deeper tone? you want a supercharger or turbo for a deeper tone? thats the wrong reason dude.. i thought you got your answers from all the threads youve made already

side note.. if you can get a aem for 500 bucks i say go for it.. you can apply that to a turbo or supercharger

well, if your gonna go FI, might as well get it right get it tight! Turbo that bad boy. Turbo kits are proving to be reliable at a reasonable boost level on the stock block. 300whp on the stock will limit longevity of the motor, but a nice 250whp level is ok.

I don't like a whiny turbo like my best buds STi... And I kinda like that growl from an SC'd tC with a TRD exhaust.

I didnt think u could take the ems off a honda and just use it i thought you had to have like a universal box, but I may be wrong, Paul or someone can clarify that.

I dont know each box has a model number and the model on the box links it to the vehicle...I got no idea though. Hes gonna have to get a harness made for the ems, and the harness is gonna be 700-1000 bucks.

AEM has model specific boxes as well, just not for our car. I don't think that one will work unless it is the universal.

That growl you hear from the SuperCharger is from teh exhaust.
To get a SuperCharger up to 250hp, you will be voiding the warantee, so might as well turbo.
The whine from your buddy's turbo is probably from a smaller turbo and his blow off valve.
you can get a larger turbo and a recirculated or hybrid blow off valve and it will not whine.

I have a phrase for moments like this:

Bend over, and let them swap your tonsils.

I vote turbo instead of S/C (and I have a supercharger lol)

Just because I didnt get warranty coverage anyway even with having the supercharger, and also you aren't in california which is crazy strict about CARB status... lol (california air review board) and if you dont have a CARB sticker, you are f**ked!

Go turbo, stage 1 and get it tuned with the AEM EMS!
