"SL curse".....
well hello ya'll i've been strucken by the fked up scionlife curse.....
Not totally scionlife's fault. Well i'm doing this like kinda secret build just because i didn't want the SL curse to happend to me but shyt happends. I am going to start out by saying thank you from the following shops/tuners... Thank you : Full-Race for the cool vacumblock...Turbochargers.com for the hydra,1200cc injectors,fuel rail,and AeM tru-boost controller... Evans Tuning.com for the in-line walbro 255 and install kit. Todd @ turbotoyota for the cool manifold and alot of stress LOL. I have been trying to install everything this past weekend so i can fab a SS downpipe and new intercooler pipes, well heres where the problems come into factor. I ordered stuff from todd @ TT back in Feb.12 stuff being a T3 .82, and his ver.1.5 manifold. Went to AZ from NJ just to meet and pick up the stuff personally. All was good til i got back to NJ with the stuff and find out that he got me the wrong size housing; well that not a problem because i haven't worked on it yet so i paid out my pocket to send back to him also told him exactly what part number from precisionturbo.net that i have and he told me it would take garrett 1 week to get it in stock then i would have it next day he has it in hand.
3weeks later i got the part in the mail. I called 2 times a week for no answers or responce even after i left a Voicemail. the only way i would get any responce from him was threw text message. What ever thats all good, Buttttt well if i knew how to post pics i would show you how much of a gap there is between the blades on the turbo and the housing. So now what i have is a BIG problem Because now after spending all this cash out right now i have to get up money to send this back to AZ just to get $200 back but since i need to send it to him again i'll be out $100 cause it's like 50bucks one way for this stuff and now i can't put together til i get my housing from precisionturbo them selves which i can't do until i get my money from Todd. Other than that i have had Awsome tech support from both Kenny Strickler and Jeff Evans which have been givin hints and advice for my build also as soon as i purchase stuff from them i get a tracking number and get the stuff by a week at the longest. So as soon as this get fixed i would love for me to be able to get on the dyno then the track
and pray that nothing happends.
For the most part i didn't want to post til i was on the dyno and done with all installs but i just need to vent NOT flame on a shop but the actions have not been very professional on there behalf.
P.S. The manifold looks HAWTTTT as hell way better then the old ZPI one i had. But hell the zpi did the job while i was un-built so time to step my game up

You bought all of that and are complaining about 100 bucks?
Hahaha. Sorry to hear bout your mix ups, but with how much is going on with turbo builds on this forum right now...the 100 bucks is pretty irrelevant.
I hope your build turns out awesome though! Keep us updated.

LOL its really not about the 100 bucks I really just am dissapointed about the whole situation and just throwing it out there that the 100dollars is a burden. I really just want this to be fixed like Monday. We will see though.

I still waitin on todds responce to all this i guess he doesn't care.....
just think if you had put it on in the first place...all the money and time I would have saved.
As soon as I get that housing back, you will have your money.

That kind of **** sucks doesn't it. I drop $100 on some stupid stuff an averge of once a day with this crap.
I'm not really laughing at you but just all the crap you've given me for complaining. It feels good though to let it out, don't it?

It's always the little **** that delays the entire car!!! Hate when that happens. You weren't kidding about the Turbochargers.com shipping though. I get an email either same day or next day, and whatever I order is at my house 3-4 days later. TX - to - TN shipping must be really good.
