yeah the only way to do a turbo and not have it visible in the engeine bay is to go remote mount turbo... maybe anodize the intercooler black make it look like factory

I highly doubt that. Most 90-95% of the people in our age group can not afford a $30k dollar car + Mod it. And any parent in their right mind would not buy their late teen, early adult hood kid a 350Z, and then give them money to make it faster.

Note: I said parent in their RIGHT mind. I'm sure there are some out there that would buy their kid a Z and mod it, but not enough to turn the Z into a next generation ricer.

I concur. You would need a S/C with an upgraded pulley to take out the Z. You would need a turbo to take out the STI.
a stock Z on average pushes 225-230whp. avg 1/4 time for an average driver is 14.0xx-14.2xx so a stage 0 kit could take it easily if the Z was bone stock. now its been recorded that adding I/H/E to a Z will net 30whp. so a slightly modded Z will be difficult. a STI is I THINK 250whp due tto that huge awd lost. on average stock sti's run about 13.1-13.4. so there fore you need a stage 1 with upgrades.
Yes I know peteyd. I own a 350Z also if you haven't noticed...

Met a guy from the last NVS meet that had a turboed Volkswagon GOLF/GTI (not sure) that dynoed at over 500 WHP. His ride looked completely stock! That was what motivated me to go sleeper whenever I do go turbo.

225whp on a 350Z? That would have to be the worst drivetrain ever to lost 25% between the engine and the wheels. 240whp is the minimum I'd expect them to have...and even that is under what it probably does have. 240whp woud be 20% loss, which is still a lot. Most likely, it's closer to 265 (15% loss).

STS turbos work on many cars. The charge piping to TB is the issue with our car. But the whole turbo assembly would easily fit.

As for sleeper look... Only on the outside. Leave the bay the way it should be and show off that little snail that helps our 4 bangers beat detroit muscle. The engine bay is setup too open to try to hide anything. Leave car lookin stock, keep the exhaust stock looking, and spray your IC black (as said) and you should look almost 100% stock on the outside.

As for the 350Zs...

Rythm i know you own one. I think kids will start picking up 350Zs and 240s after the movie comes out. For the other post though... Kids are already crashing 350Zs left and right. I can't count how many salvage titles I find on those cars from accidents. They just can't handle it. Because of this though, these "expensive" cars are only selling between 10-18k used with a lil work needed. That's pretty damn cheap and I think a lot of people will start picking them up soon.

I know because I've been looking for a new circuit car. It keeps going back and forth from the Z and the S2000. I'm in love with them both. Nissan has the ***** but the Hondas are such a blast to drive. Not to mention the vortech s/c s2000 hung with me in my evo when were running about 165 lol... We beat the cobra and the 300zx. Good times

The average 350Z puts down 235-240whp, not 220ish. Just a little FYI for everyone.

Were was I when you seen a 350Z for 10-18k. Must be base models. I have the Touring Edition one.

And it's old news about 240s being apart of the "being bought out fast" craze.

There is no room.

There isn't any way to have your engine bay look 100% stock with any kind of forced induction. Cops around here aren't tards and many cops know what to look for.

It is a challenge to sneak spray by cops today.

Actually, there are several companies that make single and even twin turbo setups for f-bodies (camaro, firebird, trans am) that are mounted in the front of the car. There are even front mounted t88 kits for the corvettes out. There is a ton of room if you utilize it properly.

"Salvage", that explains it then. You should have said so. Naw, can't go that route, need something I "KNOW" is not going to be jacked up later.
