What I pay is irrelevent, I am the machine shop. But this set up would be 1000 over the counter. They are not darton sleeves. The labor to install dartons is what kills you. Im am making 240 on a superflow on 6 psi with no vvti. I have a bad cam sensor or wiring, not sure whitch yet.

Honestly, id say it depends on what you want to use the car for? If your just doing street driving, don't bother. If your going to track day the car, then go for it. Really though, do you get any traction at 360whp? What's it going to be like at 500whp?

The time it takes to cut out the stock cylinders is all charged hourly. and it takes a day to do it. thats twice the cost of iron sleeves and the install, for just the install of the dartons not including the cost of the sleeves.

Right on, We have a flat rate for "repair" sleeves, but dartons are alot more work than standard style sleeves. I do know a guy that has a CNC set up for doing them so he can do it for less than we can.

let me drive it.. im not scared of slicks lol

IMO i'd opt for the sleeve... for the extra security that wont be the first thing to go. If anything worry more about the rods and pistons and headlift first.. the OEM sleeves are pretty decent actually... rods and pistons usually go first.. and CFT's price isnt do bad.. remember its CFT... not jose's bakery and buidling shop out of a 1 bay rat trap...

wait elevation arent u talking about putting sleeves in the built motor or the motor u have in now? ^^ if its the built motor he shouldnt have problems with the rods or pistons.
