Ima go with the Z, I drove my bud's nismo Z and i was like what the hell am I doing with a tc.. sounds great, feels great, looks great.. Then I realize I still love what I did to my tc, im still gonna keep it and just get a better car if I want

True, but I'm really not a Vette fan. I can't see myself driving one despite how sweet they are. The GenCoupe I really like it's body lines. And it was different (not seen everyday).
I love my 350z, just wish it was a 370z....hehe.
I want a new drift car though, so it's either wait to see what the Toyobaru project looks like, or get a 240sx with RB/LS1 swap done. Those can be had for $8k with swap done.

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec
Before it’s even released, Hyundai is expanding its 2010 Genesis coupe lineup. A mid model-year release, the Genesis coupe R-Spec is designed for enthusiasts who want a low starting price and a car that can be modified to their specifications. The Genesis coupe R-Spec will come with a 210-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. It will use the suspension and brake upgrades from the high-performance track model, but it will have much less equipment, to reduce price and weight.

it's pretty much like a spec tC, but once u get it u'll be crying out loud cuz u don't have the panoramic sunroof, cruise control, yada yada lol. At least it has better suspension and brakes, which goes out of the door anyways if ur gonna be tracking it.

that r-spec genesis coupe is actually a good idea because they take away weight, AND make the car sportier with better brakes and suspension, so it is lighter and sportier, kinda like the mitsu evo RS was in the evo line up.

The spec TC was an easy "feeler" to test out the tuner waters for Scion. They just slapped in some easier/cheaper to make parts that people commonly replace to lower the price. It had nothing to do with performance... strictly budget on the both the Scion and consumer side. Turns out, dealership presentation goes a long way because the idea kinda flopped lol.

The gen coupe is a mixed bag for me both performance wise and aesthetics (sp?) wise.
I would definitely opt for the3.8 track edition if I got one though. I saw a yellow one at my g/f's work (3.8 track) and thought it looked nice..hated the spoiler though..but something about the front end bugs the CRAP out of me..haven't driven one yet so I can't say much more other than what I have seen on papaer.
I've already pretty much decided that my next car purchase is probably going to be a Subaru though so no hyundai for me .

So far I haven't seen much of a reason to really like the 2.0t over the 3.8 without actually having driven one *shrug* and I haven't seen much in terms of potential from the turbo....I know it's a new car I'm just saying that for me as of right now I would go for the V6
