So....Genesis Turbo Coupe < Turbo tC

^ yup..that's what I meant by on paper..the WRX is in a similar price bracket and has more power and weighs less..hell even the legacy 2.5gt weighs 3400lbs but at least it has the same motor as the wrx..with about 10ft lb more of torque

All prices aside because we can agree there are definitely better ways to spend money for a performance vehicle, off the lot performance is definitely greater in the V6. When I worked for VW, I drove the 2006 Passat with the 3.8L V6 and that thing was a beast compared to the 2.0 turbo but I still loved driving the 2.0 more (even an auto) because of the overall experience, not just the power. It was a smooth power delivery that let you know when it wanted to have some fun. Maintenance/modification wise, I'd take the 2.0 Hyundai over the V6 also. I hate working with twin bank motors if they're shoe-horned into a tiny engine bay. But that being said, if you asked which one I'd like to take around a track for free, I'd say V6. Take home to modify and daily drive/maintain, 4 cyl. Either way, Hyundai is making leaps and bounds in their design.... not quite solid in many peoples' opinions but they have made major progress, that you cannot deny.

v6 on boost... looking for 700+ on a 2 bar setting soon.

Yeah, umm.. so I couldn't help but notice the RACING HELMET on the bottom right of this picture, not to mention the stripped door panel. This has got to be from a track, with who knows what done to the engine and definately not under normal driving conditions.
Not saying they don't run hot with a pretty small looking front grill, but you can find a pic like this of any car driven at the track. xa007xa even has some on his xA from oil on a bad turbo feed line getting on the downpipe.
That V6 has got to be on upgraded internals, stock CR on the V6 is 10.4:1.
Personally, I'd be interested in the 2.0L turbo once they hit the used market. Any ideas of how well these would hold their value? I'm hoping that being Hyundai it would depreciate quicky and I could find one cheap, but being a new concept for them, and somewhat the flagship vehicle, it might not fit the trend. xB seems somewhat crazy in the used market, 10-12k for a 5-year old car w/ 75k+ miles that was 14k new seems more than a bit high.
