Someone on the boards decided to go...............BIG!!!!

It spools quicker vs an open but not vs a twin scroll setup...plus the the turbo costs enough on its own. Those Tial housings are big $$$ and the performance gains are not worth the additional cost. But they look sick
But I am currently building a couple T3 setups with GT35Rs with the tial housing. The v-band style flange/collector is sweet

i was going to ask if that Tial housing was a twin came in a twin scroll. those do look ad ars, but Todd's right... they the cost is def higher. so Todd... along with your billit motor mounts, are you also makinga turbo mount

my buddy has already thrown together a custom manifold and gt4202r and says he see's boost start at mid2000rpms and not sure what full boost is but i think 4500 but pulls all the way from like 2500 til 6200rpms. and with a large turbo like this even @ say 5psi should net some really good numbers

You dont put that big of a turbo in your car to push 300whp. That turbo is good for about 600whp if not more do you think his halfshafts could take that much? NO. they will spin or snap.

Plus I have them and they are good for about 600whp. They come with everything. R halfshafts are not that great. If he did put this turbo in his car for a 300whp scion tc he would be dum and I dont think he is...

What a waste on this motor. You need something that revs to at least 8,000 rpms. The car might make horsepower but the powerband will be so lousy it'll still be slow. Just my opinion and good luck.
.....but needless to say 8000rpms will be on the low side.
All new halfshafts will be need.....
I have a few assocaites who make over 750whp on there cars..run consistent 10.1's at over 150mph on stock axles And the Scion ones are stronger than those

who in thier right mind would run a turbo this latg on a facyory motor? and this turbo probably wont do ____ at 5 psi! this baby is designed to run 40psi on a fully built motor, and head with say... costum web camshafts!
some may say this turbo is big.. and i agree, but this thing isnt going on a 300-400whp tc, its probably going on a fully built track car with a cage, and all!
that's just a sexy turbo... no matter what application !

Yeah someone is following in what we did on Jeff's footsteps in round 2. The only thing I pray for is that the same thing does not happen to their car like it did to Jeffs.....oil pump failure on the dyno = FTL
