What does this have to do with my question?

well, you asked if there is any mechanism to help spool the turbo and he gave you an answer in the link. an electronic motor to help spool the turbo. or another solution to slow spooling turbos, variable vane technology.

Well....I admit I am a little evil at times over the net, but only when I think something is stupid. Then I play it just right so people will back themselves up into a corner and break down in mental frustration.. (in person not that way unless you ____ me off), but I am honestly being genuine in my questions this go around. No lie.
If I smell bull **** though, I'm going to call you out on it, chew you up, and then spit you back out...

Travis-
even though you say you don't have a hidden agenda.......
You ask about flow testing.
I will ask you...what does the advantage of flow testing a turbo manifold offer?
Do you have any idea how much CFM any type of turbo manifold flows?
If I were to answer your question, and gave you a number would it make any difference to you? Or anyone else at that matter.
I don't have to flow test them as they do not react or flow like a head does.
I know what certain sized runners are capable of flowing......
What really matters is how much a head flows....by itself and in conjunction with a few other parts(intake mani, cams etc) and how much (if used in a turbocharged application) air the turbo flows.
Hope that helps
Regards-
Todd
PS- ever tested a log for air flow ??? LOL

I was asking what this particular car was using, not what can be used.

Answering questions with a question, keeps things going in circles. Why would I need to answer these questions when I'm not in the business of producing or fabricating turbo kit parts.
That's like me asking you:
Todd, have you ever taken apart a computer, broken it compounds down, and rebuilt it into a new machine?
Todd, have you ever programmed a computer program to compute values and input them into an SQL database?...LOL
Why must you continue to battle back and forth when I just asked a simple freakin question.
For the most part it needs no explanation. I asked you if you flow tested them. Answer....No. I asked what mechanism (if any) would the car be utilizing to spool the turbine faster. If there wasn't one, then a simple ....None would have been fine. All I would have responded with would have been "I will be looking to see how it performs off the 2.4L alone". If you don't know, then just say....."I don't know, if the customer is going to use something or not". Or if he is going to use something, then just simply say what it is....be it Nitrous or whatever.....GOOD GOD man, SIMPLE freakin QUESTIONS!
You know what, just forget it, cause this is a bit childish that I can't get simple information.
