Something exciting for the S/C guys
Ok well, I now have my SC installed and yeah I love it. It is a very smooth power delivery and you can notice a difference as low as 2000 rpm's. I have heard this from a very reliable source. But anywase I have heard that within two-three weeks there will be an intercooler system available that should add 30-40 whp. They have decided to go front mount. It sounds about right because if you look at the Vortec website the civic gained 45 whp do to an intercooler and the Integra gained 35.
Secondly, within the next couple weeks there will also be three new pulley upgrade kits to boost the psi. Well, now any S/C guys should have no probelm at all hanging with anything out there with a few upgrades. Also the intercooler shouldn't effect the warrenty what so ever however I don't know about the pulley's. Adding another 40 whp should put the TC's at a solid 240 w/o header or exhaust.

i havent heard anything like this from scion/toyota. what source is this? an intercooler would be cool but i dont see how it can add that much hp when the sc already adds 40-60hp

i dont know about the intercooler, but it would make sense that trd would want to have upgrade pulley kits to market since aftermarket people would be making a living off of it. besides, the s/c doesnt put out that much power anyways so mayb that is jus another strategy to market upgrade kits.

To aggressive for TRD. It is correct and valid information that comes from a VERY reliable source, the company has proven themselves to be a leader in forced induction in the SCION community. I was not sworn to secrecy but I will not let the cat out of the bag.

if this is all true then I am def gonna go back to the SC.
