Default Ok

Ok so I will tell you my source.. Sorry it was so fun to see every one get excited. The source was Kenny over at ZPI in Louisville. They make a great turbo but realize theres money to be made in the S/C world. They are excited about the TRD/ Vortec setup and about how much potential it has.

Default oh yeah

For those who are scepticle go to the Vrtec website and look for your self the HP gains on the these cars

1999-2001 Civic Si

* Adds 45+ horsepower
* Adds 30+ lb/ft of torque

1994-1998 Integra GSR

* Adds 35+ horsepower
* Adds 25+ lb/ft of torque

1994-2001 Integra LS

* Adds 25+ horsepower
* Adds 25+ lb/ft of torque

With our car we should expect 35-45 easy. Add header and exhaust/ downpipe and you have added a total of 60 + more horses to the S/C. With out upping the psi at all. Thats the route I'm going to go.

Oh, yeah we should expect these pulleys and intercoolers within the month of November.
By this next week they will have the first intercooler made and tested.

Sorry for not putting all of this in the first post.

If this is really true then I'm sold on the supercharger. I'd be content driving around with the factory supercharger until the warranty is up. However, I was always hesitant because I wasn't sure how much support there would be for higher hp applications once my warranty runs out. Keep us updated on any new info you get.

Those gains are from Vortech's charge coolers. Not front mount intercooler. I would like to see TRD come out with a FMIC for the s/c. Those charge coolers do not look like they would fit in the engine bay. I have the s/c and I can tell you, THAT THING IS HUGE!!! Barely anymore room under there now.

"TRD" FMIC on the Supercharged tC from Scion - *featured at the Longo Event @ Irwindale Speedway* - The intercooler will be a stage 2 option for the supercharger.
