So for now it's running but with no open loop at all...and your "shutting off" open loop mode within the device? Not by unplugging the 02 sensor like some guys do when tuning with the Greddy blue?

I always get the 2 terms mixed up, but...
Doesn't this mean they shut off open loop, not closed loop?
Either way, it's not ideal...

Well the unit does not require the O2 sensor to be unplugged to remain in open or closed loop. The unit can control when it goes into either mode. It is VERY sophisticated.

Ok. Time for the 5/28 update.
Car: 2008 S2.5 Turbo'd 5 Speed tC
Car is officially running like a CHAMP on the unit. The car has TONS of torque-steer and it's only on 5 PSI.
The real test is now for the owner of the car to drive daily, which he does for 3 weeks with unit and hopefully all turns out well. We beat on the car pretty bad today and she did not faulter once. So I am quite impressed.
If there are any bad or good updates on this car, I will report back.
Assuming there are no other issues that arise with the unit, we are going to put it on our shop 06 car, which is set to run some SERIOUS boost. IF that goes well, the Scion community will have a new form of engine management offered exclusively at Dezod Motorsports!
