i dunno if my turbo or somthing is starting to go i have the turbonectetics turbo, at cold starts it sounds like somthing is grinding inside the turbo, then as it warms upp the sound gradually goes away. I still hit full boost all the time and the turbo seems fine but i dunno. the newest problem is the bov wasnt going offff i took all the vaccum lines out thinking maybe somthings clogged and yess there was oil in the vacc lines clogging the lines, anybody know what could possibly cause that. ur help is greatly appreciated.

the actual turbo might be bad now! You blowin out any smoke from the exhaust...color?

take off the intake pipe and look and see if there is any oil there or if theres any shaftplay... i bet you need a new turbo.

sounds like the shaft is off balance a hair and rubbing and now your seals are gone. since you have oil in vac line I would bet money that the turbo seals are gone.

I am gonna check it out today guys thanx for the help, i think i might need a new turbine toooo, what in ur opinion do ui think is a better quality turbo that will bolt up to the same flange,i deff want BB but not tooo sure i heard to stay away from tnetics cause after a while alot of them fail and the seals mess up.

stay away from bb turbos all together. they do not work well with high oil psi.

The tC seems to cause this to happen to a lot of turbos. The high oil psi is a pain.

its not even just bb turbos...all turbos hate high oil pressure and the tC's oil pressure is very high. Its a necessity to run an oil pressure restrictor on the oil feed line or else your gonna wash out the seals

non bb turbos handle the oil psi alot better. i ran my 16g for a year with no problems. that kit is currently on someone elses car running good. i've had no issues with the 60-1 either.

just buy a car that is fast without an after market turbo so you don't have to deal with all this.

I'm more curious to know which cars he is talking about being fast without an aftermarket turbo (preferably cars priced 16k-20k), as this is the price range that Scion tC's fall into.

Ah hmm...car has to be brand new by the way.

srt4 was the only such vehicle
