spark plug question

spark plug question
Im running a greddy kit at 8 psi I know I need to run ngk step 2 colder plugs but I can't seem to find them or the part number so oreilys can get me some and none of them could figure it out either any and all help is greatly appreciated

also are u tuned most tuners take a look at your plugs before and during pulls. some even go as far as taking temps with a laser on each cylinder which is not accurate but helps i guess.

Im using ngk now and gapped it to .35 instead of .44 my kit came off a friends Tc with the Aem fic tuned at 8 lbs but he was using 2 step colder plugs when it was tuned but can't remember the part number...im going ti get retuned in 3 weeks

for 8 psi, id say between .34-.30 should suffice. u shouldnt have to run 2 steps colder. ull be just fine with 1 step colder. im running 1 step colder @ 12psi with no issues at all.

bkr8eix come pregapped to .030...but always check. as stated 2step colder plugs are not needed for the amount of boost ran. 1step colder would work just fine. Iv gone as far as using stock plugs gapped to .030 for low boost.
just so you know the part numbers for what plugs
ngk brand
bkr6eix-11 =stock plugs pregapped to .044 (something of that nature)
bkr7eix =1 step colder plugs pregapped to .030
bkr8eix =2 step colder plugs pregapped to .030
the -11 at the end of the part number denotes the plug gap being .044

Id go with 1 step colder. No need for 2 step. As for gap .030 will be fine, just double check the gap before install. Ive found .030 is good up until about the 18 psi range, passed that, youll want to gap them down. I run my BKR8EIX's at .022 gap with 25-28 psi on E85 and no spark blowout
