Try some new spark plugs too. A step colder should help to ease things. Good job on a quick and uneventful install.

Eric included some Denso Iridium Plugs. I forgot to mention that. It wasn't uneventful, hehe I had one brain fart with a bolt I shouldn't have left in. But I found it fairly quickly, Eric even had the Manifold machined before it was shipped.
Ha, I keep finding reasons to run errands!

Maf just has wires -So it should not matter it it's supported or not. Make sure that the MAF sensor's o-ring (at the base) is 100% seated on the intake manifold it's a tight fit. You may want to run just a bit of wd40 on the o-ring to help it seat properly.

Wire-tie the EGR solenoid valve assembly to the charge-pipe otherwise it just flops around.

Don't have too much fun

I just remebered. The screws that ZPI supplied for the MAF sensor are too long. They will bottom out before they clamp down on the MAF sensor. Either take a dremel cut-off wheel and hack about 1/16" off, buy a shorter screw or use a washer/spacer to take up the slack.

I used a thin piece of plasic as a spacer.

Leaking MAF sensor is what was causing the stall at idle.

Super fast install, good to hear your having no major issues with it. My car goes to ZPI on tuesday for a stage 0, I cant wait!!! BTW does anyone know if the stage 0 will cause a check engine light? No big deal, that would just bug the ____ out of me for a while.

Thats what I meant to say, The egr solenoid valve, I zipped tied that to the charge pipe and it stopped stalling. When I first installed my K&N intake I let it hang and I was bogging out then too. Since I zipped it I have no issues whatsoever.

Yes, but when the time comes..OBDII will be out and our cars will do nothing but throw illegal codes. There's no running even if you return the car to stock. I fear for the life of my car!

I had 3 backfires today, seemed like when I went into neutral. I wasn't gunning it or anything. It's running on 91 octane. I haven't taken the car past 5000 rpm yet because I havent installed my blackbod and I really wanna play it safe. Any thoughts?

glad to see you had an easy install.. but dont ghetto rig your MAF sensor, thats something that is vital to the cars survival you can say, get a bracket made for it now. if should already have one, ZPI makes pretty good kits..

also, about the emissions, it should be a pretty easy thing to do, you just have to take a stock tC and have them run through emissions for you, slide a benjamin or so to the tech and have them put your plates and vin and everything.

or you can do what i am going to do, when it comes time for smog, decomission the car and make it a full on race car.
