Another question I have is if this hose is connected properly. There was no where on the pipes for it to connect to so I just went ahead and put a breather on it... is this the right solution? or was the kit missing something...

maybe that could be a problem for the lack of power when I try punching it?

generally, I've seen the breather there, but not with a tube on it as long as you have there. Then again, I am not sure how it will effect performance if you were to cut it, but I can say I've never seen it that long with a breather on the end. Shorten it.

Someone told me the line running from the BOV is NOT supposed to connect to the Wastegate directly... can anyone confirm that? The only vacuum lines I have now is the that one and the EVAC that is connected to the breather... also the turbo is not supposed to spool when I'm going about 70mph on the hwy... is that true or not???

you should have a vac line running into the back of your valve cover as well.

it depends on how much throttle you give it on the high way. i'll be at 14 lbs vac or at 6 lbs boost depending on if i'm wot or not.

if you need i'll take some pics of where my vac lines are run

if you can take some pix of your engine bay i'd greatly appreciate it!... i want to make sure my setup is right. I went ahead and picked up a Greddy Emanage so I can get this thing tuned asap... I"m going to get it tuned Tuesday hopefully.

i definitely DO NOT have a line running to the back of my valve cover. too much chance of blow by, its unnecessary.

I have it now where my wastegate is connected directly to the bov... but in those pix it looks like the wastegate is connected to the vacuum line coming out of the back of the engine... but I'm unsure as to where the bov connects to?

My BOV is not connected directly to the WG. It's connected to the intake manifold behind the engine. My line coming off the WG goes the opposite direction than yours. And normally I am not spooling at 70mph on the interstate unless I go to accelerate. You might spool when going up an incline though, depending on how steep it is.

In case you need some more illustration, this is how my Vac lines run.
