TOMORROW!?
So what all is he putting in?
Doesn't he need to fab up the pipes first? How long did Sue estimate for that?
I'm guessing the soonest anything will start going in is Saturday. i won't be back in town till Saturday night!

today hahah
=P so i dropped the car off today, me and sue talked and had a look at everything.

the turbo is big.

might be TOO big...treadstone manifold might pose a bit of a problem too.

im worried =/ he might have to sand into the block to make room for the turbo. blah.

today was just a test day though, so he can just look at everything and figure it out...he had to run at 3, the real build starts tomorrow i guess...then he leaves over hte weekend for family emergency.

=/ should be about a week

btw, i'm in the clear with my parents! they think toyota has my car cuz my dad got a call from toyota yesterday telling him that a part for my car was in hahah

as for hte pipes, he hasn't even started looking at that yet, and the estimate hasn't even been quoted yet because he has no idea whats going to happen. but im going to be there helping him the whole way so it's going to be ok.

What part is in for your car?

Would there be room if he moved the fans like in mine? sanding the block just sounds kind of extreem!

Hey, see if sue will put your car on the dyno stock so we can get some base numbers.

what do you mean what part?

i don't' think any parts are in my car right now, actually i have no idea. i left before 1 because i had class.

the fan isn't a problem cuz he can move that if he needs but the turbine housing is quite wide, so it might hit the block...and that is a nono hahaha

i dunno about hte dyno thing tho, doesn't it cost moolah?

You said Toyota called your dad and said a part was in for your car, so your in the clear.

The dyno would be maybe a total of $100 to a normal paying customer. Not Sue's brother's nephew's cousin's ex-fiance's roomate's brother or whatever you are to him. lol

ya, toyota did. OH my hvac has been acting up since hte 2nd day i got the car, i figured i should bring it to the dealership but never did.

good thing too, it happened all together in good timing. knew that would come in handy one day =D

i dunno, ill ask him about the dyno. since i am his brother's nephew's cousin's ex-fiance's roomate's brother alien spaceship mongering *****. he tends to kinda run around in circles when i make pointless requests like that.

.....tho as would i hahah

I see how it would seem like that.
However, i dont' think it would be pointless since it would show the exact imprvovement it made over stock.
However, I asked him to do a base dyno on mine before tune and he didn't think that was a good idea either!

And for me

no zpi, everybody that had their things there has had it returned, and he doesn't ship things out. he works on it at the shop, so if for some reason they paid up front, then they got refunded.

i spent the day helping him move his stuff, i know it's not a zpi.

BUT IM SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. does anybody know of a big garage type space in vegas?

im looking at thsi one space right down on desert inn and valley view. HUGE. cheap and nice.

I don't care, as long as it's still close by!
I dont' want him moving to one of those spaces by the speedway cause that's all the way across town!

Well, I dont' think he should move over the the side of town where everyone talks $hit about him...I think he should stay over here where we all love him!

Dude, don't sell your crap. Because by the time you get it sold (and loose money) and pick, purchase and get shipped a new kit...the new shop will be open. If anything, you can just go to best muffler or something and have them weld some IC piping.

Or you can just sell you manifold and get a manifold/downpipe combo from Dezod (cheaper then TT) and they even sell IC piping kits.
