the point of it is so that you can run the return oil line from the turbo back to the pan. That way oil flows through the turbo to help lube/cool it. You have to tap the pan to put this thingy on it so the oil line can hook up to it.

No, you can't take it out. You can plug it, but I dont' see why you would. You'd have to take off the entire turbo kit, cause it needs oil.
The reason why some guys get pretapped pans is cause they can't do ti themselves. They buy one tapped, remove the old, install the new, and plug in the lines. But the propper way to do it is to have it WELDED! Sue welded mine. Have him weld yours.

You can tap your old ones, it's just harder to do when there is oil already lining the insides. Especially if you weld the fittings. Personally what I did is I got a new oil pan, drilled the hole for the screws and oil return fitting, and then had some nuts spot welded on the inside of the oil pan. This is so I can remove the fitting and change gaskets without removing the oil pan.

Ok, just looked throug you list.
first of all, take the damn unichip off your list, unless SUE is a certified unichip tuner. He needs a $1000 kit just to tune it!
Now, it looks to me like you added injectors that you didnt' have before, and your gauges you didnt have before. That's a grand right there.
